Block 3 ~ Flower Power Quilt-a-long

Introducing the Daffodil, the third block of our Flower Power Quilt-a-long! I have been blown away by all the variations and beautiful blocks. In this Quilt-a-long, you'll learn to quilt 9 blocks depicting simple floral favourites to create a beautiful 9-patch style quilt. And the best part is... it's FREE for all to join in during our i-SEW-lation.
You will access the designs from this Photo Album on my Facebook page “Helen Godden Quilts.” Download the pattern and print out the designs to a consistent size. In my sample, the designs are 8” square, but you can print them any size you wish.

Hi, love your video, I'm just starting this with number1 I have traced onto the fabric with the sharpie, I plan to use inktense block for a shade of color the follow your instructions but I have two questions, I am making this blocks into placemats, will the sharpie run if washed and does the paint hold up, I'm sure they will be washed alot

Hi Sherri, the Sharpie wont run but will fade overtime if washed. Perhaps quilt the sharpie line more intently with the black thread.

Yes it will fade a little with time but shouldn’t run.
