Block Buster: Monster Mayhem Update!

Greetings, Monsters!
Halloween may be a month away, but we couldn’t wait for this Block Buster update! We’ve got some mouth-watering have you savoring every last bite (of people).
Let’s get to it!
Big, Bad Weapons:
These big boys need BIG weapons to wield. Use your KP to unlock up to 3 weapons: The Wattage Whacker, The Wreck-it Ball, and the Techromancer to create all kinds of chaos.
All weapons can be recalled with the “B” button. Press B, and your weapon will appear where your hand was at the time of the button press. NOTE: If you drop your weapon in a cave or underwater path in The Primal Isles, you will not be able to recall your weapon. Make sure you hold them when traveling through portals! Apologies for the inconvenience.
Weapons are unlocked at the Karnage Shop!
The Karnage Shop:
Don’t know what to do with your excess KP? Spend it at the Karnage Shop. Use your KP at the Karnage shop to purchase newly added weapons, paint colors, collectibles, and cosmetics.
The Karnage Shop will help fund additional work going into Block Buster. We want to deliver new monsters and levels to you all, but it takes a significant number of resources to produce. With that in mind, our plan to offer more content (Purchased and free) through this newly added store is to keep the wheels spinning and you, the players, happy!
· 24-hour collectible item refresh rate.
· 3 new weapons purchasable with KP.
· 8 new color pallets to get the right shade for your costume.
· Newly added cosmetics, skins, collectibles, and monsters will be featured here in the future.
We have added a free skin for the Techromancer. This skin was voted on by our Discord Community. Go into the weapons tab and select the new skins tab at the bottom. You will be able to unlock the QuackAttack and apply it as a skin to the Techromancer, once unlocked.
Welcome to the Kaiju BBQ: Play with your food!
· Fence-roasted humans, cooked to perfection. Pick up your tasty victim hurl ’em at a fence and hear them sizzle or discover which monster power works best on them. Be sure to visit every level to check out the local cuisine!
· Pick up the nearest human and give them a squeeze by holding down the joystick toggle on either side. Release to fire. Heads fly in an arch and can be used to take out enemies. This makes for excellent target practice!
· Grab a person and throw them at the water like a stone to skip them! See how many bounces you can get before the friction from hitting the water too much bursts them!
· Holding a human while roaring explodes their head! That ought to teach ‘em!
· Richter Scales special power now neutralizes humans while holding them!
More Gameplay Options and QOL Improvements
We’ve added a couple more options that we hope improve the quality of life for players. Some of these were requests from comments and feedback we receive. We do our best to get to as many requests as possible.

· Turn off Monster Theme Music
· Hide Bite Animation
· Player Notifications on Notebook and Cosplay Menu

· New store art
A Quick Multiplayer Update:
We are still working towards Co-op destruction for free play. One thing about Block Buster is the number of physics objects that spawn in a scene at once. Replicating the physics on the blocks has taken the most time, but we have neared the end of that tunnel and are now working on the character AI so tiny humans can run around and work for both Client and Host. After that, we will work on the cars and environment. Additionally, we will be adding the newly developed weapons to the multiplayer mode, which will take time. We want this experience to be as fun as possible right off the bat, and your continued support is much appreciated.

Ok so assuming that all the monsters are the same height in all forms this applys to all of them. All the humans are the same height also. While i was playing as the gorrila i measured a human on my chest and the average height in the 1930s is 5'9ish and we double that cuz its only one chest so the full chest of the gorrila is 11.8 feet long and assuming that the arms are the same length as the chest we triple that so the wingspan of the gorrila is 35.4 feet long, the wingspan looks to be as though it is the same height as the gorrila. So is the smallest form the gorrila is 35.4 feet tall, but when you grow you get abt 1.5 times the height you were before so you would need x3 the begining height so the tallest that you get is 70.8 feet tall or 71 feet to make it easy. Please tell me if my math checks out, im pretty sure im right but i still wanna know if im wrong

Its comin! We tested it today. Destruction is nearly there. Ai cars, people and passenger jets wont take too long, and then there are the new interactions, special powers and weapons. We are really trying for a December release. We'll be reaching out in the discord for testing help from the community so be on the lookout! Thanks for asking about multiplayer!

So it's going to be like a humans vs kaiju multiplayer where player 2 is humans in a jet while the kaiju destroys the city? I'm just wondering

​@@blackdragonchannel7275Hey no worries. No, that is what we hope to achieve down the road. The multiplayer we are working on now is co-op destruction in freeplay mode. 4 players can connect and destroy a city together. It'll be the normal free play level, with up to 4 monsters and a weapon, if the host has one available. The reason we're going this route is that it sets us up to have the replication processes in place to do more advanced game modes down the road. Getting the blocks to replicate is the biggest factor when doing multiplayer and we definitely want to nail it. Thanks for asking. If you have other questions, let me know.

Is there a challenge in this game from the military? I liked having to go against tanks etc in the old rampage games.I need that challenge if I'm really going to feel powerful

Hey, thanks for asking about the enemies. Sorry I think I misunderstood your initial comment. Each level does have enemies and bosses. The enemies come in at waves with each zone and can be adjusted with difficulty levels. Each level ends in a boss fight too.

Mecha Richter is something we have been considering as an extra skin. A giant wolf could be cool and the Raven would be sweet! Thanks for suggesting these!
