2nd Problem: 1) split the right-most adder into the rest of the block diagram + a negative feedback loop which can be solved as (G3/(1+H3G3)) 2) move the branch from before G2 to after G2, and compensate with gain 1/G2. This puts two branches in parallel whose overall gain is (1+1/G2). 3) now the left hand side is two nested negative feedback loops. The inside feedback loop solves to G2/(1+H2G2). The outside then solves to G1G2/(1+H2G2+H1G1G2). The total comes from multiplying the results from 1) 2) and 3) together.
