this was so helpful, thank you. why it is that you put the paper onto the block, instead of pushing the block onto the paper? is it because it would be more unweildy in the hand that way? or other reasons i haven't thought of?

You would need to test it as different materials can react differently

No, you need screen printing inks for that. These inks will block the screen and give you issues!
