There is card in ur deck called.... Training... Idk but the color of card is green it cost 0 and -50% exp gain

Took a couple of tries in hard mode but yea it's a pain But it is even more of a pain in the final battle against him (Spoilers below) This is when he gets the Venom sword Hard mode person user here, yea it's hell parrying his attacks in his second phase. Barely gives you a window of oppertunity to breathe. As of this time, I stopped counting after 20 tries and I haven't even beaten him nor gotten him to half hp yet Edit (8:37 P.M. PST): I finally done it
