I have those rulers and cutter system. You attach that extra part you lifted up to the ergonomic cutter and it "rides" on the track of the ruler to give you accurate cuts every time. The sticky dots are to put on their rulers to keep them in place. I have a difficult time cutting things accurately and this system really works. They make that extra part removeable so that you can use the cutter like a normal one if you want too. This was demonstrated at the Houston Quilt Show (that's where I bought mine). The "holes" in the ruler also help to keep the ruler steady and in place. When you hold the ruler your fingers/hands are also touching the fabric because of the holes. It's a great system for those of us with arthritis and not much hand strength.

Great video! Your Christmas fabric is so pretty! Can’t wait to see more! I love the precision glue and use it instead of pins for piecing. Our puppy swallowed a pin and he was lucky they got it out, so I am very careful of pins!!!

I have used MANY different types of rotary cutters but the True Cut is by far my favorite! My hand doesn't get tired or sore, very easy to use. The added part is to run along the edge of the ruler so you stay on "track" and don't cut crooked. Can be used without the piece for regular cutting. I have the rulers, cutter, sticky grips and the 2 styles of sharpeners. Great products! Thanx for sharing!
@awa1179 Жыл бұрын
Do you have to use the True Cut rulers, or will the cutter work w regular rulers?
@barbnix4717 Жыл бұрын
@@awa1179 The cutter works with any ruler. I use mine for everything.

“Limited” color palette? I’d say “controlled” or maybe “tightly controlled”. Love these colors together. The difference in values really makes it work like 6 colors, I think. However you describe it, I’m loving the look of this quilt.
