I had my doubts about that "backup" single jet root remover when you demonstrated it because the stream didn't oscillate.........but after seeing the extreme power of the jet....I think you should make this one your primary...........just so's you can bust a hole for an excuse to whip out that dc-38......HAHAHA

Love these vids, they're so satisfying for some reason. Do most houses in Australia have these type of buried drains? Curious as where I live in Canada most have downspouts that just drain to the driveway or onto the grass. Seems that the buried ones cause so many more issues than above ground

That is some very thin walled pipe ! What is it 1.5 mil. From your videos a pattern is emerging. I’m guessing some tracks of houses have this issue and others do not. Am I close? I’m in Texas rarely see any rain water that drains to the street. New construction or older homes. Multi story builds do but almost no homes.

That thin wall PVC pipe doesn't do very well under compacted soil. Kind of makes the case for using schedule 40 PVC pipe instead.

The external water drain pipes are very weak, and as soon as sand is applied to them, they dent
@darrellt70992 жыл бұрын
The junctions on the pipes don't look that great in that system. Is it common to cut notches in the end of pipes to allow them to be pressed together rather that using glue and proper junction fittings there? That seems like it is asking for an easy access point for roots to enter the system. Anyway, great video and thorough job on getting it flowing again.

It looked like the installer didn't have proper couplers and just cut slots in the pipe to fit one inside another.
