Same here. I layer several paper towels in the sink when I drain grease from a skillet and the paper towels go straight to the garbage. Never had a hint of slow drainage in over 20 years. Also, never put pasta or any bread or grain product down drains even with a garbage disposal. It clumps and may even expand. Simple rules like this keep your drains flowing and odor free.

Hey Ollie, I've been a plumber for 1 Month and 5 days! Still Having fun! Snaked 3 main lines Jetted a McDonalds(eww!) Inspected 6 leech lines and their septic tanks Changed 17 toilets Changed 14 faucets Installed 2 cleanouts Soldered 6 copper connections Installed 2 tankless water heaters in locations far from the original water heater Changed 12 water heaters Repiped 2 waste systems Installed 8 garbage disposals(2 needed a repipe) All I can remember right now, lol
