I was just wondering, when the jetter starts, does it draw energy from the van battery? Or does it have it's own? If this was my setup, I would probably have the jetter's fuel system plumbed into the van's fuel tank and the starter and electrical system wired into the vans battery and make it so the jetter's engine puts the electric back into the van's battery that it used to start. I'm sure they have devices to prevent either engines alternator from back feeding into the other to prevent damage when either charging system is active.

A whiole back, I called an area sewer cleaning business and his rates were: $175 for mechanical rooter, $250 for water jetting, and $350 for water jetting and a camera follow-up and review of the line. So, I would have to pay an addtional $100 to see if he did a good job at jetting the line. Crazy.

600 dollars to have my sewer jetted and camera....worst part the jet head "wasn't working the best that day" and I was still charged full price. in my area you only have two options for this service and they both charge the same.

I think you should do a little homework and find that rigid camera rig online that Ollie uses, and you’ll be stunned at how much that thing cost….and then check out how much a jetter rig costs… by the time you get all done, it cost a tremendous amount of money just to show up at a customer’s property. There’s a guy in my area that can’t afford to have his camera rig repaired, because that’s too expensive as well.
