Who says they haven't? 🙂 Also: before Ollie arrived they may not even have realised where the problem was or what was going to happen once Ollie got there. Ollie has made several videos that start with "blocked drain" and end up with a mechanical digger opening up a trench to replace a pipe that is damaged beyond repair. And Ollie is a good guy, if he sees something that would get damaged, he moves it out of the way.
@BigBabyJane

I just said that same thing to my husband about yesterday's video. Ollie was having to work around heaps of leaves and debris and a unwinded water hose on the sidewalk. I'm sure it makes his job much harder. But yeah, you're right. If you know the plumber is coming, have the courtesy to clean up the space they'll be working in. Sheesh!!

As a homeowner I know where all my clean outs and access points are, I would absolutely have it a cleared working space. Just as when I have my septic pumped I make sure it’s a clear path and no obstacles. It’s a courtesy, but I am old school and still also tip for work done correctly and professionally.

After a while your nose pretty much becomes blind/desensitized to sewage unlike with rancid fat which your nose really never gets used to
@DelticEngine
@DelticEngine Жыл бұрын
@@jasonrichardson1999 Maybe not getting used to the smell of rancid fat is a survival mechanism. Every animal needs to attend to nature so getting used to the smell of that is reasonable. Not getting used to the smell of rancid fat would provide a protection against eating something that would always be harmful and keep humans away from death and graveyards and the like.

In Australia rain drainage is generally piped to the street. Sewer drains are seperate. Unlike the USA the drain access is outdoors, no freezing in Winter. It goes to a city main drain either at the rear of properties or under the street. Does that clarify.
