Keep up this great work! Really important. Keep the sewers and drains clean, clear, healthy, and maintained. So that all the sewage go straight to the treatment plant.

Best thing about this job, plenty of sausage rolls! And with corn!

Following on from previous comment. It seems that the outlet may also be blocked so clean out that first and the rest will go down as you clean the side branches. Mum in Adelaide, South Australia.

I just can't believe it that had to have been the oddest set up I have ever seen. The smell coming into the house from that open sewer hole, I couldn't live there .

Hi Guys from an X- pat in Australia. Can you tell me why you don't clear the outlet pipe before filling the manhole with the built up crap from the other pipies? It just seems that the posibility that the outlet pipe would also be

I can't help but wonder if the building layout called for the manhole/pipe dungeon to be right in the doorway or if they remodeled and put the doorway there as to not block the cover under the wall. But yeah, looks like several junked lorries had to be melted down to make that cover. Wow.

You guys need to develop some sort of lifting rig that uses the corner bolt threads, and allows you to hoist the lid without blowing your backs out...

Good idea. We are thinking of getting a leaver lift like what bt use on their big covers.

Jonie, I was somewhat disappointed to see you allow wet wipes to run down the drain. You pulled out 2 then for some reason gave up on several others. There must be some way you can catch the wipes. I've seen other channels simply place a rod in the outlet to snag them, then remove them. There are many videos showing how wipes in the mains contribute to giant fatbergs and how wipes can clog the filters at the treatment plant. Other than that, you did a fine job of clearing the blockage. I just wanted you to know that other viewers may comment more harshly about the wipes. Cheers!
