IMO, Joni has a tell when she wants to shut down any discussion that implicates her misdeeds. In the Jimmy Evans interview, Jonathan brings up the issue of his daughter's sa. Daystar was making a business decision to terminate Jonathan, and the swift action was necessary as a defensive move to protect the ministry’s interests. After Jonathan and Suzy’s removal as employees, Joni could always step in as a mother and relieve any suffering brought on by the termination. Marcus Lamb was the head. He put all of these things in motion. Of course Joni got dic*matized by Doug! Doug knew Joni hadn’t been touched in years. So Rest In Whatever God says to Marcus. He created and left that family in a lie and a mess. His wife in shambles. I was in a marriage like that and let me tell all of you. It’s taken years for me to realize it was not my fault. We went years with no intimacy. He’s still in a relationship with his mistress. I was in my late 20s and 30s. I didn’t even know it wasn’t normal. Of course Doug brainwashed Joni. Brainwashing is all she knew. We can’t say in these beliefs that the man is the head but exonerate him from responsibility when he’s been an adulterer. Sorry doesn’t work that way.

There's going to come a day for Joni where she's going to realize that her decision to marry Doug was a bad one. It was really really not God's will or His voice to tell her to do so. I know she could have been happy again if she allowed God to guide her. I did the same thing, well, it was almost 20 yrs after, and not with a married man tho but with a man 10times worst than my ex husband . And as for that little bundle of love...
