He's human, and in his position he's under a lot of pressure, I can understand how he does the things that he does. Of course, this does not excuse him for what he has done. That is not the purpose of this comment. I'm just sad that it's come to this. When Bullock feels as if he has to take this strong stance towards overwhelming negativity. I think the community has failed to spread respectful and useful criticism. It's clear that his trust towards us as a community is shrinking. The occurrence is so often, that even good videos like yours is blocked. I respect Bullock, and the rest of PGI for the great game they've delivered to us, so I defintely do not want a witch hunt to fester over something like this. It's serious, but we've got to keep ourselves civil if we really want Mechwarrior Online to thrive. Just because there is a right to be angry shouldn't have to mean we have to lash out towards Russ or PGI. I want to challenge players to not just complain or bash PGI in the comments. I want people to just communicate with Russ Bullock or at least attempt to understand his situation if you can't do either of those. Then maybe just learn to have peace with a awful circumstance once in a while.

People have tried to provide useful feedback in a respectful way and been ignored or blocked for their trouble. MWO has one of the most patient, mature communities in gaming. The fact that PGI have such difficulty dealing with it is utterly staggering.

I'm very late to respond to this. And yes, there are people that are respectful. But I've seen plenty of the opposite in my experience. It nearly went out of control during the introduction of clan mechs and that behavior is still around regularly. As to whether PGI ignores or blocks. I've been getting mixed results since there is also proof that PGI also listens to the community.

I still believe that more can be done when it comes to proper communication between each other. The biggest issue I have with the community is that there is still too much grief over past decisions or mistakes, people are going to eventually lash out, and it's going to have an effect.
