For some of those muskrat huts what i like to do is slick up an existing run frkm them going up it and then you can get a long spring foothold and set it about an inch under the water with the spring pushed into the hut and then ill run a 3 foot ish cable on it connected to a slide for the trap and then the other end connected to a t stake pushed under the water for a drowning set. Also the colony traps work well for runs going into the huts. Looked like some pretty nice sets though and congrats on the mink and rats

Those muskrat traps will work as long as you put it in their water path. I like to use the trails or find where they share runs with beavers or the entrance to their holes.

Pack basket for the win, was a life changer when i got mine. It's the everything pack, trapping, it'll fit multiple turkey decoys, and pretty much whatever else you want. They breath well, don't get hot carrying them and they conform to the shape of your back making it very comfortable. The floats might work better if you cover them with grass and whatnot.

At 6:04 dont bother with 110's. Go straight to 120's. Anything you xan catch in a 110 you can catch in a 120 but youll miss larger animals like otter and raccoon if your using 110's where as 120's will hold them even if it doesnt kill out right. Anything too small to use a 120 on like ermine large pan rat traps work great and are cheaper. 110's a niche and unnecessary. Also, for anyone wanting to learn. You wouldnt normally put traps out straight from delivery. You would boil them in a baking soda solution to remove grease, leave out to get a patina of rust, then either treat with a commercial dye or boil in walnut husks for a few hours. Muskrats are kinda retarded. Most furbearers will avoid a new trap.
