0:16 fun fact! experience orbs aren't semi-transparent in bedrock edition, meaning they don't have this issue. this also just makes them look better imo. 1:29 this glitchy appearance is known as Z-fighting. it happens when two planes are so close to each other that your computer doesn't know which to render in front. 1:44 fun fact (again)! this was actually removed from bedrock edition for a while (i'm talking years) before semi-recently being re-added for parity with java edition. 2:35 this actually doesn't happen on bedrock edition because grass blocks don't use an overlay texture here, due to differences in the way bedrock edition handles tinting. 3:32 this is because both the candle and cake are one block in this instance, instead of two separate blocks like they'd normally be. 4:34 they actually fixed this in 1.20.5 i think. 8:57 it actually does still appear on top. it's just that recently (in either 1.20.2 or 1.20.3. i don't remember which), mojang changed it so that entity renderers like in the horse screen are clipped into the area for the vanilla background texture, similar to how scrolling button grids (like in the stonecutter screen) aren't actually layered beneath anything, but rather just clipped into the appropriate area. . 11:39 the word 'elytra' is plural. 12:13 this actually isn't true on bedrock edition, since the icon looks the same for effects given by a beacon as for effects given otherwise. this causes a different issue where the icon is always blinking, since beacons give you the effect for such a small amount of time. 12:48 this is because the game doesn't have any architecture for starting a sound in the middle. 13:14 this also isn't true on bedrock because the tops and bottoms of directional blocks don't rotate here (which itself is because of how differently bedrock and java edition handle the concept of block states). a similar issue happens (on java edition) with the bottoms of grass blocks and snowy grass blocks. 13:52 this is because the game doesn't have the architecture to move the position of a sound after it has started playing. this can also be noticed when eating food while moving sideways. 18:09 this actually isn't true on bedrock edition because minecarts don't cast shadows for some reason. 20:48 this is actually how it works for all block entities. for example, it also works like this for mob heads. why it works like this, i'm not sure, but it might be because entities have different shading in the UI on bedrock edition. 20:57 have you tried crouching? 21:58 this is because the particles appear around the camera, regardless of where the camera is. it just needs to be in the necessary biome. 23:18 this is because these items are "attachables", which have special rendering properties set in the vanilla resources and are also super buggy for some reason. 24:50 this is because slimes and magma cubes are programmed to always hurt mobs they touch, instead of only hurting things while attacking, which itself is because slimes and magma cubes attack so differently to other mobs. 26:01 fun fact! on bedrock edition, entity shadows can be cast on lava.

I really dislike the 'Won't Fix' status of bugs on the bug tracker, they should be changed to lowest priority. A game that continues to be updated will become bugless given enough time, once every other bug is fixed and every feature is added, the 'won't fix' bugs are all that will be left. The bug tracker should act like the failed mob vote mobs, where bugs not seen as important are put on the 'back burner'. This would help people not stress that the bugs may eventually be resolved, while also not worrying people who like the bugs as features. Calling them 'lowest priority' gives them low commitment and allows them to see whether people prefer keeping them or patching them. We already have a priority and voting system, so it only makes sense.

No, a game will never be bugless. Some bugs are left in as the community likes them, like kuazi connectivity. Others are just too much money, effort and time to fix. Others will cause more bugs when fixed. You thinking a game without bugs is possible with enough time is silly. Enough time would be many, many, years. Please do not thinks games with zero bugs are possible, as you are setting yourself up for disappointment and if you tell some small devs, they may overwork themselves. Don’t just think that bugs = bad , as some are amazing.

@@Pawbrew Yeah, for community liked bugs, that's why I said "while also not worrying people who like the bugs as features", it's not a complete promise either way, and for ones that are clearly fan favorites they most have a vote. I think such bugs like using a boat for no damage, and world generation bugs are amazing. As for bugs that cost too much money, I see your point that an enterprise like Microsoft might not patch them if it doesn't provide profit, I guess modders will pick up the load off of them like always. This would only happen after the game stops receiving any updates in the first place, but that is unlikely for the foreseeable future. Games without bugs exist too, simple games like minesweeper and solitaire, even up to the complexity of chess. Minecraft just takes more time. Minecraft has been around for 15 years, the staff have fixed thousands of bugs and more have appeared in their place, but the team continues to improve their design process (I hope), which means better updates with less bugs, and more time for older bugs to be patched, which I see happening a good amount in changelogs.

They AREN'T complex coding wise, WE make them complex with out own choice of how to use the pieces. Very different from a 3D game..no 3D game will EVER have 0 bugs as there's always ways to break collision or do unintended things, and every bug fix has a chance to create more bugs. Instead of looking for perfection, which doesn't exist, just make it passable..if a bug in enjoyed or can be ignored why care? It doesn't need to be completely bug free. Also, the passage of time reveals more bugs. There is bugs you don't even KNOW about til someone finds it 7 years later or even 13 years later.
