The pistons are carboned up so bad because the heads are puking oil & dirty gasses back into the intake. It's also robbing HP/TQ & screwing up your tune. Get a different intake that either uses breather bolts or a catch -can system. Gasbox, Lowbrow, TC Bros, DK Customs all make ACs and breather bolts or catch can systems for the Sporty.

Man im a sportster owner and ive got to say those bikes arent comparable. A sporty is “i want an old bike without all the other bike problems and the abilty of infinite changes”. A scout is “i wanted the most refined composed streetable cruiser right out of the box” Scout is like a 2020 camaro newest tech balanced. The sportster is like a 1969 camaro they started reproducing in 2020 cool in its own ways.

SPORTYS are already top heavy I know I own one 09 NIGHTSTER so why make it EVEN WORSE just for looks 🤔 TANK lowering is what the SPORTYS NEED to lower the center of gravity which makes the bike a much better handling bike . The custom tanks are a 4.5 gallon tank but sit lower !
