Scout stock will still likely thrash a hopped up sportster
@kevinwolfe54483 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the scout would smoke it. Just numbers alone are 123 hp and 87 ft. lbs. of torque. The scout is ugly af though, so there’s that.
@sli84623 жыл бұрын
@@kevinwolfe5448 Scout is a beautiful bike, but also, those aren't the numbers for the Scout. Stock Scout is 100hp at the crank and 85 hp at the wheel. Torque is closer to 75lb at the wheel. I think the numbers you mentioned are the Scout with the 1300 cc big bore kit or the FTR1200. That being said, I think the stock Scout will still beat this. A stage 1 or 2 Scout will 100% beat it.

I felt a huge difference with my screaming eagle 1200 kit. But I want to do the 1275 kit now. I want to build a 2003 sportster though so I can throw a 6 speed in it to with the 1275 kit
@powershift13653 жыл бұрын
I wonder how much more power that build would've made if the 883 heads had gotten even just a cleanup to the bowl area of the ports, as that is one of the reasons why stock 883 heads can leave power on the table if left untouched when used for conversions, besides them also having smaller valves than the 1200 heads. However, with the TBR pipe I still have doubts on how MUCH more power would be made, as the horsepower plateaus at ~5500 and even begins a very slow decline until redline. Every exhaust pipe is going to have a different power curve than another, but if aesthetics and sound were a more primary focus to the choice of pipe, then I'd say the TBR pipe is a fine choice. I'm anxiously waiting for a Hammer Performance build on your channel Block, don't let me down!

Swweeeeet.👍💪 Hammer Performance offers a 1275 kit that delivers more: 100 h.p., rather than 70 h.p. that S&S delivers. Now, Harley needs to bring back the V- Rod in its 1250 Porsche designed engine, with lees rake, mid controls & narrower rear wheel to punish some crotch rocket riders. I would also see this weaselly company bring back the LEGENDARY FXR FRAME on many of its bikes. And comeon Harley, descent double disc brakes with ABS on all models. We already pay premium price for for your bikes.

Hello from Darwin Australia. I love your content always very informative. Just a question in reference to 883 gearboxes. are 883 gearboxes going to be strong enough to handle the extra horsepower and torque increase?? As for better gearbox ratios would be nice to see comparison of stock 1200 vs 883 big bore kit?? Would be nice to see your hammer 1275 kit in a comparison with stock 1200. Standing start drag race, rolling on in 3 gear, anything else you might think off. Thank you for your channel.
