A good analogy of atomization is a spray bottle. Within the bottle the fluid is in a bulky heavy form (fuel tank), after pulling the trigger (fuel injector) the fluid is atomized and comes out in small particles/droplets.
@sparkyastwo6 ай бұрын
My way of explaining atomization; use a spray bottle or mister. The bulk water (fuel in this case) is sprayed at a higher volume/velocity making a mist or a fine spray in comparison to the bulk water container (fuel tank). You can also think of a garden hose (fuel line) spraying water through the garden hose nozzle with variable spray tips. Your garden hose has a specific psi much like your fuel pump. Increase the atomization by changing the spray nozzle from a stream to a mist. The water (fuel in this case) becomes lighter and easier to mix with the air. Ever seen a rainbow from your misting garden hose spray nozzle? So, your fuel injectors act as the spray nozzle for fuel, spraying it in a fine mist to “atomize.”

I have been waiting on this. You're the first one that I know of to take the new bike to another level. The only thing I hate about the HD 135 is that they keep the governor on the bike. If I'm paying 6k plus for an engine and install, just take off the governor. Overall, it's a good video.

So glad to see corporate getting out there and working on customer relations. When they first introduced the M8 they spent a lot of time on how the new engine was designed and improved. I think this is another one of those watershed moments. Cooler heads and 149 ft. lbs. is a big step! Almost ready to sell my old EVO FLSTC lol. Really looking forward to the tests you guys will give this new engine. Stock Primary, Transmission & Belt Drive??? The heads look like they have breather holes, which I thought they discontinued with the Tranny vent.

Very impressive numbers. With the other 135 I felt like you could make those numbers with aftermarket build kits for much cheaper. If the price of this one isn’t too inflated over the air cooled 135 I’d love to get one for my Road King Special. 150 Hp is right where I want to be. Awesome numbers to have a warranty still. Loving this build so far.

With motors like this one that produce monster torque numbers, don’t they tend to break things on the bike? I have a stage IV build on what was originally a 103, now a 107. The bike is great, but it has a big lope with a 585 cam and things either vibrate loose, or break.

That's amazing that you're getting straight talk from a manufacturer. It's always been a load of bull with sportbikes saying they make 180-220hp, when the wheel says 150-180hp,. That's still a lot of power, stupid fast honestly, but if you actually had the rated hp, hokey smokes! I hope y'all put your Blockhead exhaust on, and looking forward to Chris doing his best to finding the breaking point, and talking smack too hopefully. Oh, I forgot to mention. So if the crank numbers inflate the wheel horsepower. And this was similar to the numbers from their last 135, does that mean this is dramatically more powerful? Or was the rep comparing power for both from the wheel?

I love my Harley, but I feel like their warranty’s are like oil and water. I have yet to run into a deal ship that just takes care of their customers when they have concerns. I personally felt threatened when I just tried to bring up an issue with my speedometer being way off. To the point that instead of fixing it on my 30k$ bike, I just backed off. Because they just threw fee’s at my face if they determined it was fine and told me that I was basically stupid. Felt pretty good.
