Thisnis my first bike. Ive had it for 4 months now and I've been really intimidated by maintaining it. You guys (and gal) made it look so easy. I'm WAY more confident now. Thank you SO much!

PSA.......Not sure if you know but the oil bottle is designed to be poured with the spout side on top. this will help stop the glug glug effect and it pours more smoothly.

First mod on every bike, lithium battery. Lasts 3-5 times longer vs toxic lead acid battery, longer warranty, no trickle charge needed as only loses 1% charge/month vs 1% charge/DAY with lead acid, charges in minutes, vs hours, less weight, no explosive hydrogen gas, no corroded cables, higher CCA especially for big twins, full power starts even at 10% charge(70% charge on lead acid is essentially a dead battery)

If she decides to do exhaust and tuning. I HIGHLY recommend FlashTuneECU. Literal night and day difference on that bike once it's been flashed.

Hey block, it is interesting to use a tool to check the alignment of the chain. I've read to not trust on axel marks only. This tool looks like a stick attached to a sort of "box", and when you fix the box over the chain, you are able to see the alignment of the chain. As you appreciate to have right tools in your shop, this may be an interesting acquisition. Deuces!

Just remember since you're using propylene glycol instead, you're going to want to keep track of hot days as Engine Ice gives less heat transfer for a higher boiling point so your bike is actually running hotter but you won't have boil-overs as quickly.

Air cooled motors are cheap to produce vs more complicated liquid cooled bike. All gas motors require alot of maintenance because of all the moving parts vs an electric vehicle. Air cooled motorcycles are limited by HEAT/air cooling vs serious horsepower numbers like liquid cooled motors. More horsepower means more heat, oil loses viscosity with increasing heat/friction. Liquid cooled motors mean more horsepower, stable heat environment, durability and long term reliability.
