Thanks for sharing. I wondered if it’s okay not to disconnect the ECU box? I’m looking at my bike now and I’m able to disconnect the terminals and remove the battery without disconnecting the ECU box, but I’m not sure if this would affect anything?
@YiyeTinkers3 жыл бұрын
There should be no problem leaving ECU connected while doing this. I’m only removing it to make room to make the process easier

Hello is there a way to look up which batteries can be supported by ninja 300 ? Actually the battery you have mentioned is not available in my country.

Remove the original battery and take it with you to a battery store, they’ll provide the one which is compatible

i got the same bike and its been sitting i got a fresh battery and fuses on it as well , it cranks but it does not fully start. I hear the motor trying to start but its just not turning on any suggestions ?

I think the cheapest option is to first confirm whether the new battery is good or not. If you have access to a multimeter, check the voltage of the battery when the bike is off, also monitor the voltage when you try to start it. A perfectly healthy battery should hold at ~13-14v when the bike is off, and will dip when the starter is working, but not dip below 12v. After this try to use a jump cable with a car to see if that works - if this still doesn't work I'll start looking into the starter.

Change the starter. It is a small box that gets corrosion over time

This is ridiculous. If you drop something into this compartment it’s gone forever. Terrible design by Kawasaki

I promptly dropped something into this compartment directly after reading this comment. It was gone smh

I dropped a nut for the battery while changing. Used up buying a flexible magnetic tool on Amazon to get it back. The design of the battery compartment is absolutely awful. It's a ramp into a tiny crevice that you won't be able to reach into.
