Hello to Paul and everyone who watches the channel, I hope you'll all excuse me as I felt like sharing a bit from my personal life: Last year on the first day of ramadan I woke up to the unfortunate news of my aunt's hospitalisation due to COVID, she passed away a few days later and soon after both my grandparents left us as well. It was a difficult test for all the family but we all accepted Allah's predestination. My brothers and sisters, our time on this earth is but a blink of an eye and we are all under the almighty's judgement so be well and mean well. Alhamdulillah I have learned much from my beloved relatives in their living as well as their passing and if there's one that stays is how much faith empowers the Soul. The One SWT does not need us, it is us that need him. May Allah grant us the chance to witness another holy month so that we get ever closer to him and worship his grace. Asalamu alaikum and may Allah keep you all well 🙏🏻 🌙

Hello Paul before Ramadan we also have this blessed month Shaaban. Dubbed as the forgotten month, Shaaban is the month when prophet Mohammad increased in his worship and fasting. It's a month when our deeds are raised and God forgives everyone except for Mushrikeen (People who associate partners with God) and Moshahen (People who are antagonistic and have bad blood with other people). So this is a reminder that Half of Shaaban falls on Friday.

Our Creator Allah Almighty says: (185. Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed. Guidance for humanity, and clear portents of guidance, and the Criterion. Whoever of you witnesses the month, shall fast it. But whoever is sick, or on a journey, then a number of other days. Allah desires ease for you, and does not desire hardship for you, that you may complete the number, and celebrate Allah for having guided you, so that you may be thankful.) Sourate 2 al-baqarah ayah 185 from the Holy Quran revealed by Allah to his last prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him)

Loving the quality of picture and video. May Allah swt reward your work brother. Your channel presents knowledge and wisdom for those of us who are in search for knowledge, but due to lack of time or capacity, are unable to dig deep into the texts, and for that I’m very grateful and a super happy subscriber. Another topic which would be great to see covered is ‘slavery in Islam’ or ‘slavery in Islam compared to slavery in the west’. This is a common, yet quite easily overcome argument, if the case was presented by a professional. I’ve had a browse through your videos and haven’t been able to find one on that topic, if this has already been covered could you please send me the link. Jzkallah brother.

wa'alaykumussalaam, I believe it was referring to the area around the Ka'bah, and Ka'bah was built by Prophet Ibraheem (peace be upon him) which was the first house of worship. "Surely the first House ˹of worship˺ established for humanity is the one at Bakkah-a blessed sanctuary and a guide for ˹all˺ people." (3:96)

Today is π= 3.1415... day zuyyina lilnnāsi hubbu l-shahawāti mina l-nisai wal-banīna wal-qanāṭīri l muqanțarati mina l-dhahabi wal-fidati wal-khayli l-musawamati wal-an'āmi wal harthi dhalika mata'u l-ḥayati l-dun'yā wal lahu 'indahu hus'nu l-maābi Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best ** return**. This ayat is in surah 3 number 14 (3:14) The word (maabi) it is translateted (Place of return) and we know that π radian is 180°. bal badā lahum mā kānū yukh'fūna min qablu walaw ** ruddū la'ādū** limā nuhū 'anhu wa-innahum lakādhibūna The truth they used to hide will become all too clear to them. But if they were sent back, they would return to what they had been forbidden. For they are indeed liars. This ayat is in surah 6 verse 28 (6:28) Do you see the pattern know. The words (ruddu laadu) have the meaning a full return to the same point so 2π= 6.28 radian = 360 °. All thanks are to Allah.

Hey, I’m not Paul but to answer your question yes he did know about God, all the pre-Islamic Arabs worshiped God/Allah, however unlike Muslims they did NOT believe that there was only one God, they did not believe in “la ilaaha ila Allah”. So for example they believed that Allah had three goddess daughters - Allat, Al-Uzza, and Manat, and along that they worshiped multiple idols which they took to represent various attributes of God. For example they worshiped an idol called Hubal that represented fate/divination. There was a small minority of these pre-Islamic Arabs who rejected all these idols and lesser gods and worshiped only the one God, they were called “hunafa”, which translates roughly to “orthodox”, but they were a small and usually outcasted minority. As to what Muhammad sawas himself believed before receiving revelation, he kind of didn’t seem to be deeply preoccupied with religious matters before revelation, and he didn’t voice much of what he believed to other people, so it’s kind of ambiguous, however it’s implied that he held skepticism toward idols and multiple gods and had sympathies to the Hunafa/orthodox who believed in the one God. At least this is what I understood from what I researched, if I am wrong in any way please correct me
