I just did your 5 BEST THIGHS and THIS VIDEO too.. I feel completely knocked out.. But I know it's all good. The best part of these 2 videos (I'm a new subscriber BTW!), was when you encourage the newbies.. I was completely discouraged at the beginning, but the way you were cheering me on.. That got me to PUSH HARDER and break a sweat like I haven't in YEARS. Thank you so much for this. Really.

Cassey! I was really proud of myself and just wanted to say thank you for POPpilates and all that you do and let you know how happy this has made me!

@meshakgirl10 жыл бұрын
maria gonzalez I know you wanted Cassey to answer but I thought I would too to help others who have the same question. One of the easiest ways I find is: get rid of all the unhealthy stuff. Chips, bread, cereal, etc. everything. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy all those foods but when I crave them, I find alternates. Whole grain/nutty breads, baked/homemade vs fried chips, hearty/grainy cereals. For most unhealthy foods there is a healthier alternative. Another tip: if you just need to munch, stock up on fruits and veggies. I buy carrots and snap peas, pears, stuff with a crunch for that craving. I hope this helps!
@seleygirl7710 жыл бұрын
maria gonzalez to add on to what SilverWing65 said it's okay if you have a very "slim" amount of junk food if you like ABSOLUTELY want it, but don't...indulge yourself with junk. Like little tidbits that kinda make you happy :) Health and happiness go hand in hand. ^-^ and SilverWing65 you're totally right about how there are a lot of alternatives for unhealthy food.

Wow,for once I agree with you noblet,standing isn't the ONLY thing though,you could do other things but he's right. Your mid section is actually quite strong already. But you could always tone or build muscle if your into that sort of thing. Good day.
@-visibly_distraught-10 жыл бұрын
Well I will say that I did get pissy towards you because your comments sounded slightly rude,and I seem to absolutely hate rude people,and I meet a lot of them today,and that kind of saddens me. I apologize for when I was acting pissy to you for no apparent reason,and a lot of times you are right,that part is true,but some people somehow manage to get results out of doing things like this,I started with pilates only,then moved to yoga,then HIIT,then running, now I do all of those six days a week,and the results are quite nice. So yes it takes quite a bit more than this. I think the one thing I should really thank cassy for is how motivated she made me feel,she motivated me not by yelling "your worthless you need to work harder" or "you call that a push up,c'mon now!!" But through kindness and I guess I could say "hope",she just shows a lot of girls my age who hate their bodies to love them and show respect to themselves,and that somehow motivates us to work harder and do more. So maybe her moves won't work,but her words do. So I shall agree with you,you are right,it takes more than this,and I know that through tons of research and plenty of months researching on my own body as well. If you don't mind that I make a request from you,when you post on her videos,please try not to sound like an ass,I guess the tone is what sets people off including me. Thank you:) Good day now And your not the only one who despises a lot of people.

Noblet Street Soccer and More is that so? then how did I lose 5 kg with her videos? For you it may not work but for others it does! I think you are getting mad because it doesn't work on you! Just a question: How can you call it "muffin top melting"? I mean, you can't spot reduce fat. Just because we do a plank or sit-ups it doesn't mean that the fat in that area is going away. Yes, of course our muscles might grow, but that fat is still there. What makes our fat go away, in the long run, is consistency and the most important thing a clean diet. But this video sure makes for a great workout! :)

while you can't trim/burn the fat with this, you can definitely tone up those areas to make them look less "flabby," if aesthetics is what you're aiming for :)

Yes, She always reminds people that you need to incorporate cardio, as well as a good diet naturally, if you really want to see fat melt away.

At the end of a lot of her videos she always reminds us stuff like "Abs are made in the gym and revealed in the kitchen." As stated above, she says a lot of things about how you can't spot reduce and how you should incorporate cardio and clean eating as part of your routine (:

Great workout! I like how the music went with the steps. It encouraged me to keep up with the beats.

Try adjusting your arms. Like instead of holding them above your head, put them on your hips or something like that. That's just something that has helped me.

try making sure your back is straight and your not leaning forwards or backwards. also as mentioned try adjusting your arms it may be affecting your posture. it also could be if you have a weak lower back that its just simply muscle pain. sometimes muscles can be worked out in an exercise that is not related simply because its weaker. Hope this helps :)

Candlestick dippers are impossible for me when I go to the side that my is not extended and I just fall over, but I try it the opposite way (dipping down on the side my leg is extended) and I feel a good burn from it, is it ok to do it like that until I get stronger?? Please let me know, if not I just won't do it until I get stronger!

Loved this video! I work full time and go to school part time so having a quick work out video like this is awesome to just make me feel energized and good about my body :)

Thanks for the motivational talk at the end Cassey. I was like 'UGH. I reallyyyyy do not want to work out today'. Working out to your video made time pass by pretty quickly. It took effort but it was actually fun to do; which exercise should be. And yeah I do get nitpicky with my body but I just have to stop tripping about it and just keep working and let it do it's thing (corny I know, but true).

every time i do a side plank i end up slipping!!! how do you avoid that? is there a specific way our feet is suppose to be positioned?
@melindawood1510 жыл бұрын
try putting your top foot as if your standing not stacked side by side (if that makes sense) - if not the top of your foot facing the ceiling rather than the side. I find that helps.

Thank you Cassey for your inspiring words at the end of the video! It really helped me remember not to worry too much about the way I look, and just be happy with what I have. :)
