No, at launch they wont. The reason for this is that they purposely made the platforms longer than the trains so that as ridership goes up they can introduce either longer trains or couple together more units without the huge cost of a station rebuild.

It's designed in case when they decide to use 3 car set up but during most testing only 2 cars are used

I truly hate the seat layout. It has the same trash layout as the streetcars that feel crammed any time more the 7 people are in it. Wish they had subway car style layout

There are plans to add glass to one or two of the busiest transfer stations between Lines 1 and 2. Hopefully they’ll expand the idea to more in the future.

@@hakohito They are going to retrofit a few busy stations, but it would be cost prohibitive to do the whole system. They did a study, and found out it would cost almost as much as building another complete line.
