The one thing about the sharkies completions this season is that it was shit against bottom teams. It was really high in the top of the table clashes they've had: Panthers, Storm, Cows, roosters, etc, with an average rate of 81% . and against teams in pouring rain conditions it's 76%. When you look at those stats, it points towards them lifting their completions this week.

The examples used of suspension in grand final and the Latrell example were poor given Denon just read that NRL took into consideration the time of the offense as just one part. That being that it took place in 2020 before pre-season for 22 even started. Meaning the two examples are vastly dissimilar. Not disagreeing that it looks favourable given the time of the season in which suspension was handled down and that a fine would have sufficed. But the examples are certainly poor. If people want to use this as precedent that would what to consider the same circumstances surely.

Putting aside the disrespect and naivety of consequences from Gambles comments you have to ask, does his comments have any merit of truth to it. Regardless of respect/disrespect to his coach, if his comments have truth to the situation than I don’t condemn him for being honest but instead for speaking on a public platform which opens the opportunity for others to speculate and form opinions on the situation. Personally, I have the opinion that Walters isn’t the coach for the Broncos and I have formed this opinion from the outside looking in and before shit had started to hit the fan.
