The only "bolties" I've ever used have been old service rifle. I love my Springfield, but I could never even imagine using it like this in a competition. Interesting seeing a modern bolt action being run faster than some people can run semi autos.

You weren't alone. We had thought he was hosed on this stage with the bolt action, but weren't sure he'd get the balloons in reasonable time. When we heard him go to ten rounds rapid fire after only two shots, we were looking at each other going 'The hell? How did he do that?" Bearing in mind almost everyone else expended at least a half magazine to do the same thing.

I don't know what the wrestling/pushing thing was about but I think if you'd squeezed your chicken things would have gone better. Just my opinion. The weather looked great. Thanks for posting.

have you considered a magpul mlok handstop kit? I found running mar minute style that having that little mump to pull against keeps things a bit more controllable and it doesn't get in the way like a vfg does.
