Thank you for your videos. Due to a number of health problems I have stopped cooking home made meals which I used to really love to do. Now I've got this, with the probe, I am hoping I will be able to cook my wonderful son some of the meals he likes so much. Really looking forward to it arriving tomorrow. Your video's are helpful, thank you again. However, I hope you won't mind me mentioning that 'have' is a brilliant word to use instead of 'of' lol. Watching your videos made me feel that the Ninja AF451 with probe might mean I could do some home cooking again. Love your approach x x x

I've just got this probe model four days ago, I used the probe on the second day, perfectly cooked chicken, the chips I did with it were the best I've ever cooked. I have used an air fryer for about five years however, but I must say the Ninja with the probe is on a whole new level. My old one is now retired.😄

Hi Alan 👋 The ninja is definitely in a league of its own and I find it's a little quicker than my cosori, which I also love for different reasons. I had a fair few fails to begin with with my probe, but it was me not using it correctly 🤣 Happy cooking x

Looks very tasty Lindz,I don't have a built in probe but I have a separate bluetooth one that connects to my phone that I use when doing joints and chickens etc but I still check it with my hand held quick check one as I find there is a slight difference in the readings,another good video flower Xx

@@LindzandLife Yes I have 3 Instant products Lindz and I love using them,an Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air fryer 5.7 ltr, a Vortex + Clear Cook 5.7 ltr and a Vortex + Versazone 8.5 ltr, I use the last two every day,the instant pot is brought out usually for pressure cooking but if we have family visiting I can have all three out using the air fryer function on the Instant Pot,my conventional oven is now a storage cupboard for air fryer accessories 😂Xx

@@LindzandLife I've got a 5.5 corsori I've had mine about 3 years and my chefree is the you open lid on top and it has a removable grill plate and chip basketand a big oval bowl at bottom I usually use the big bowl at bottom I love roasties done in airfryer but not chips I do them in a deep fat fryer oh and I love jacket potatoes done in airfryer

@sarahtomlinson9863 I've just weighted it for you it's 855g. I find it easier than my last ( a cooksworks from argos) one to hold the handle, and it feels better if that makes sense 😅 I do love it, but I think a little overpriced at full price has a handy hold temperature button which is handy x

@sarahtomlinson9863 You're so welcome, lovely 💜 I will say I'm a complete tea addict so my kettle is almost always on, and it's quick to boil. It is easy to clean, but we don't have much limescale here, thankfully. If it does get a little, I pop half a bottle of white vinegar in and boil and work a charm plus can reuse the vinegar a few times ( the smell can be overpowering, though ) Then I just boil a few cups and rinse. A kettle with limescale will just more electricity to boil, so it's a good thing to know. Big hugs lovely and stay warm I've a small hot water bottle on my lap at the moment to pop my hands under every now and then 🤣 x

@@LindzandLife Yes on reviewing the video again I see that but what confused me was that you checked the veg and potatoes saying yes they are done but put the drawer back in and continued to cook.

TIP: When removing probe, remove with mitt on to prevent any possible damage to probe cord. REMINDER: Every BI internal probe on Ninjas, in my experience, usually run just a tad higher than settings. Just drop desired internal temp down by about 10 degrees. Once you get the knack of using them, you will be so glad having them. My Dual does not have the BI probe. Wish it did. Today, I took frozen chicken wings straight out freezer; placed in Zone 2 on Bake, low degrees, and ran that til thawed. I then took chicken out and placed in mixing bowl, spritzed with oil, seasoned them, and then placed them back in Zone 2; increased Bake temp, and cooked on out. There were Sweet Potato Round in Zone 1; peel sweet potato, cut in 1-2 width slices; spritz with oil, salt. Bake those until done. I think I did a Smart Finish on this. Set Zone 1 for 40m; Zone 2 at 30m; then adjusted when needed.

Hi June 👋 My little Yorkie has so many allergies and after so many different diets the vets have advised only pork and chicken as long as cooked no raw and it's been working a treat. I'm a bit shocked to hear that but will definitely look into it thank you lovely 💜 x
