Excellent Video!!! Appreciate it so much. I have not been able to travel to Singapore since 2019. So, I appreciate your videos to keep myself squinted with this great county. What are some of your favorite Singapore dishes? When my wife and I travel to Singapore, our first stop is the Katong area for their Laksa. That has always been our favorite. I love Char Kway Teow so much. There is a hawker stall in Jurong (on Boon Lay Drive) that makes the best I have had in Singapore. Keep up the good work and stay safe! Have a great weekend!!!

Many Asians refer to men and women they meet as "uncle" and "auntie" because that it how they would address them in Asian Languages. We do not use the more neutral "Mr" and "Mrs/Ms" even for people we don't know well
@hiroyukishinichi98733 жыл бұрын
Haha I share the same sentiments regarding the first one; whenever I watch American sitcoms like "Big Bang Theory" or "Friends" or "How I Met Your Mother" and the characters go to bed with their shoes on, I'm like "Ahhhhhhh!" I think a lot of people has changed that habit after knowing that coronavirus can stick to the bottom of the shoes XD

Singlish is probably best explained as an ultra lazy, yet ultra efficient way of speaking English, with whatever words that has the least syllabus or whatever gets the point across. It evolved from our multi-racial society before everyone spoke English, so they all picked up some phrases to communicate between each other.. then they mix English with it and became as such. :)

Exercise is a must of course. 😉 Just suggestions. 🙂 Btw, cute poodle! 😀
