Yes, it was nice, but he started getting all sorts of “how to” questions from other people who had moved to the Algarve. Not the point of his channel.

Man. it's looking better every week now! When the last frames and windows get in you have a real house on the outsite! You are getting there :)

Gosh Andy , the rendering is so good, makes it look so well finished, it's almost a shame to paint over it! Like someone else mentioned I agree the indoor cement walls would look very modern unpainted, other than that your plans look great for the house, glad the bidet has gone! looks much more streamlined, during the video it actually struck me that all this amazineg transformation is the work of one man, you can and should be very proud of your work and I am so happy that you decided to carry on renovating back then when you were having doubts, all the best to you and the gorgeous boys oh and loved seeing ditchy again!

Opaque glass blocks for the wall between the bath and shower? Would let some extra light to the bath area. Congrats on transitioning to RusticCrow. I like this as it should give you more freedom in the future whatever path you choose. 😊

Andy, you are doing nice work on your home. Just to give you another option, her in the US, Amazon sells bidet seats you put on your toilet like a regular toilet seat. All you do is put a battery powered control on the wall and press some buttons, and viola! Bidet! No moving to another location, no fiddling with a hose outside of the toilet. My husband discovered this during Covid, and they work well.

Looking good! I love the pattern the small window cross bracing makes. It would make an interesting stain glass effect, even if it was created by transparent coloured film adhered to the double glazing. Leave, Same Or Better, Everything Be Kind ☮️🙋🏻♂️

I found winter heating in my rental home in Aldeia do Golfe, Vilamoura, a real challenge, even with a working fireplace. The worst winter was in an apartment in the Copacabana, all electric with no heating at all! Here in Finland we have the same hand shower system that you're replacing your bidet with, much better.
