It's a big reminder of just how much you've done already. It doesn't look anything like what you bought. I honestly love how much the land has changed. Yes you can see all the work put into the info structures, but I think that the garden and upkeep of the land is often overlooked. It looks well cared for, and that's the complete opposite of what you started with. I think that you guys have found your piece of land and built your own paradise. It also wouldn't be the same without all of your very entertaining animals, even the chickens.❤️

The older I get, the less I worry about what other people think of me and what I am doing. I have found people tend to complain about stuff you are doing (or not doing) based on their own insecurities, so I don't buy into it anymore. You guys are doing fine for a couple young people trying to figure out what works for you. I love your peaceful videos.

Don't take any notice of anyone saying you's are to slow renovation most of us know what it's like living on a budget. It's better to wait until you have the money to buy materials. Also, enjoy life, friends, growing your own, ect, while renovation. Yes, you have learned a lot and us watching have also learned so much.

Comment 158, apparently As a great and passionate fan, delighted to see how you are getting on and growing in many ways, this reminded me of many, many fantastic things I thought I would never forget, but had. Carissa's laughter at Iwan getting soaked when saving the hens in a heavy downpour is what all of humanity loves - a high spot! (Soz Iwan) 30:10 Kudos to the wonderful superstar Olivia for her "unlike and unsubscribe from Carissa" message - a star of the future, beyond doubt. I suspect she is about to reach the "OMG, Olivia; stop being so damned stroppy" age - good luck to her mum and the parents of all teenage(ish) children. That's a great new strimmer; so useful! Great video

Ignorance is a great addition to adventure. If hindsight were foresight, pioneers never would have been brave enough to leave home and strike out for a dream. I have traveled the paths pioneers took to cross the great plains, up the Rocky Mountains, and down to the Pacific Ocean. 3-4 months in a wooden wagon with all their belongings and a team of mules, they encountered hostile weather, hostile natives, lack of water, breakdowns and disease. Truly frightening. In your own way, you have been equally brave. Well done!!!

Hi there, thank you for letting me look over your shoulder. Your situation .. and location - in Portugal did remind me of an old saying - a stonemason did engrave it a long time ago into the inner wall of a very deep well: "Feuer und Wasser sind zwei gute Diener, aber schlimme Herrn." in translation: "Fire and water are two good servants but bad masters." Have a good Christmas time - and peaceful new Year. Greets H.

Hi Carissa and Iwan, Thank you for taking us back to where you started. I enjoy it again and love the music . You worked very hard to bring it to where it is now. I saw Iwan helping Luke carrying the concrete slaps the other day. It is wonderful to have friends around you , helping each other. I can't wait to see how your house will look like , when finished. Good luck . God bless you. Greetings from Namibia. ❤❤

You have both made huge progress from what the land was like when you first moved onto it. You have done the work at your own pace and when funds allow and that is great, ignore the naysayers because their opinion means nothing. I look forward to your weekly videos because often they are the only times I see the sun because the English weather has been grey and grizzly for months.

Bountiful🎄💚🎄💙🧡🎄Years, peace, happiness on land. Life should never be more than that, because lifes too short. I grin so big watching Younger generations in their 20s, 30s, 40s, escaping, running away from the scathing city life they tried to program us into. Heck i was 57 when i left. Because i was not productive enough, bean counters say..., and my wages were too high. Blessings come at times with chastening, but i survived , as you have. And as life prunes Us, we adapt, embrace, and thrive. I am a green olive tree in the house of God,the word says. That definately applies to life. My Java this morning was good, this long episode was Awesome as the rain falls here in Idaho , just a few degrees from being snow❄️. My campers new homemade woodstove glowing cozy and warm. ♨️. Happy Holidays and Blessings Iwan & Carissa, Frankie, Dodo😋 and the Furrie snappas. Lol
