In this video the roof is finished. The old run down house can have its first stage ticked off. Such a relief to have a beautiful clean area to relax.

I recently started watching your channel and just thought "there's a really nice view from that flat roof". It never occurred to me that this entire roof project took an insane amount of laborious man hours to get to this point. In this day and age it's so unusual to see so much manual labour involved in a house renovation. Kudos to you for pushing yourself to finish this project. Needless to say, I have much more appreciation for this roof now. 😃

I think the glare from the sun, had you used the lighter tiles on the roof, would have made it unpleasant being up there for any length of time. It looks more rustic with the terracotta as well. An amazing job. Your patience is incredible.

The labor you have put into the roof deck will be paid every time you use it. I would love to see how you furnish it. Wooden furniture will weather in the sun but won't leave any rust marks that metal might. It turned out beautiful, Andy!

The darker tiles you used on the roof have a more organic feel to them. The lighter ones just remind me of a hospital ward. No warmth at all, and yes, white will show every stain that comes along.
