Was at this gig on Debbie harry's 68th birthday what an amazing night, they done a excellent cover of Frankie goes to hollywood's "relax" which suited Debbie's now more mature sultry voice,It was first time ive seen Blondie even though ive loved them since i was about 10 when they had a uk hit with "Denis", I would love to see them play the SSE Hydro when they next come to glasgow

I can't believe they have to play this a whole step down from the original. Most women don't have to detune their songs.

Most female rock stars(sic) are not 68 years old.

Rock the Stage NYC No shit, Sherlock? The wise man has spoken. Thanks for explaining that to us mere mortals. I thought a 68 year old performer would still be at her prime, still be able to hit the high notes, still have the same energy. Silly me. P.S..........The woman is quite simply remarkable for her age.

Gordon Stillie Yes mere mortals. No, a 68 year old is not the same as in their prime of their 20's in terms of energy, but a 68 yr old female with a LOW VOICE should be able to sing their songs through their whole life in the same keys. A see it time and time again. Where I did say she's not remarkable or great? I'm not saying that. I am saying that a female - who never sang outside her natural range - shouldn't have to lower keys to sing their own songs. Go look at videos from Dolly Parton or Charo or even Cher - all women at, near or over 68 - they are amazing. Sing and move great.

That guy's too young to be Clem. Nobody could keep up with Clem.
