HOLY CRAP this live version can wake up the dead!!!! Continuously reminded how absolutely bad-ass Blondie was!!

It’s a demonstration of absolutely incredible vocal strength, and live fully in tune! Would have liked to see the video of it but guess we’re all just lucky to be able to hear this on KZbin. Thanks!

still checking in to old blondie stuff, early 2021! their body of work is timeless, ageless, immortal.

that's a such greatly underrated song, it always drives me mad. Surprise, Shock, visionary Intensity.... Panic! Neglected by Blondie themselves... I suspect because credited by Infante

@ihasch hmmm, im not sure this was written w/ brockris as the subject. i could be wrong. debbie was not a large person - rather petite. i think she is really giving 100% here to belt out this song. ive always loved the personal letter part.....and i love frank infantes riff after "love, victor...". this is noise, raucous, and jumbled....and i love the classic blondie stuff that sounds like a practice session in a garage. LOVE that stuff.

This was written by Debbie Harry and Frank Infante. If I recall this may have been written with Victor Bockris in mind. I've seen bits of video of this song being played live, but never heard the whole thing.
