Ordered the starter set durring the sale. I feel this ship will play nicely with my other stuff, as I only have the resin sloop, a piragua, and a long boat (any B&P I play is both sides use my stuff, due to lack of players that I am aware of here). So at least even if I go higher points, it will not face anything out of its weight class.

Very informative video, thank you. As I have the starter set I want to make a Balandra and a Bermuda, and was wondering which would be more appropriate for a pirate crew and which for British?

Faster one with less fortitude is more like a pirate. I recommend the channel Gold and Gunpowder for pirate history. But bassically pirates would cut down all non essential stuff to make their ships faster, including often pretty well removing the captain's cabin.

Not something that spent much time in the caribean, but would be good for folks trying to recreate the wars closer to Europe.
