I hate to make John comparisons, but this sounds like Jack Parsons ripped a hole in the Space-Time continuum and opened a gate into an alternate universe in which John Lennon left the Beatles and joined Pink Floyd, and somehow a recording from the alternate universe came here. This could be that recording. This album will be incredible- if it turns out to be a Sci-Fi concept album as the cover implies, the entire universe will implode under the sheer power of awesome.

Whow! TCLD is getting more and more "Lennon". I really love this and I perfectly like, how Les is restricting himself to a more conventional style of bass playing in Seans compositions. It's still noticeable as Les but it's no longer the "Les Claypool Show feat. Sean Lennon". Now they really complement each other and the result is definitely worth the effort.

@@NaneuxPeeBrane Oh, well, by now I've probably listened to it about 75 times. I think I could probably play it on every instrument now while singing it. Lol. Cannot wait to see them live again. The greatest concert I've ever attended, ( and I'm an old-ish musician ). Red Rocks, May 16 2017

Hot damn !! Sean and Les (et al) bring it AGAIN! This is a great amalgam of voices and musical expertise. Sean's solo work (outside of working with Les) is extraordinary. I love his albums. It's really good to see Les play in a more traditional/mainstream and melodic band. Sean's voice, and great use of effects plus Les' bass work cut through as well as create a sometimes bizarre , (thank you!) psycho-atmospheric experience using dark chords, harmonies and dreamy vintage keys throughout. Jesus H Christ, I love this bass tone, don't you? If this album is ANYTHING like the first one... fans will be grinning wildly behind their evil clown masks. As an aside, I'd be interested in Roger Manning Jr. being a part of the band- adding a much larger role for the keys. I think the current keyboard player is great, but we know the magic Roger can bring to chemistry such as this.
