What do MD transfusion medicine residents do in your hospital?

A lot! Where I trained for residency, I wrote transfusion reaction reports, antibody crossmatch reports, platelet refractory reports, managed apheresis procedures, handled calls from the blood donation center, and took overnight and weekend calls.
