Wow. This was probably the BEST explanation of blood flow through the heart. I literally sat through days of my cardiovascular lecture in a&p so embarrassed that I just couldn't understand it, I felt like an idiot. I have struggled with mastering the basics of cardiovascular system but I have never seen a teacher who taught this so so simple! nailed it and made it simplified! after 18 years of graduation, I actually grasp the whole concept today! many thanks Sarah!you are a great teacher!

I've referenced your video several times as a refresher for the blood flow through the heart. I can't express how helpful breaking down the heart into 6 steps for the right and left side has been! Thank you I’m in school to be a veterinary technician and we are going to have to label a heart and write the blood flow through the heart in our animal anatomy and physiology 2 class. A lot of people thinks it’s different because it’s with animals but the heart functions the same in animals as well. I will also check out the nursing website for the practice test as well as maybe some dosage calculations because I struggled with that in our math class we had last term. We will be required to do this as a vet tech as well so this is helpful for my field of study as well! 🙏 😊 thank you!

My professor is unapproachable and is used to being the smartest person in the room, so he doesn't really take the time to teach us well. If we have questions, he makes us feel silly for asking them. Thank you! Taking Advance Pharmacology and we are on Cardiovascular medication. Our instructor told us that we really needed to understand how the heart works in order to understand these medications. So I had to go back and refresh because I never completely grasp it in A&P.
