You clearly see Joy use both hands to use the fry to launch herself over the container(?) of fries and it’s likely she was licking off the salt (since fries are known to be salty even if it wasn’t salt, it’s likely from other seasonings as well) from her hand. Now if she wasn’t holding the fry and it was another object (that wasn’t food related) then you would probably have a solid argument that it could be blood (and we couldn’t see it since that hand she licked off looked like it was her left hand was facing down) but since both hands grabbed the fry it’s likely the salt/seasoning.

Despite their incredible strength gorilla skin is actually a lot like ours because the skin can be cut easily compared to skin of other animals like leapers, dogs and cats who have more flexible skin. Not blood, but one scene from Pixar that seemed like a bit too much was the climax for A Bug's Life. Flik is beaten multiple times (both on screen and off), strangled, and even has bruises on his face for the entirety of the scene. Even though there's no visible blood, I would still like to discuss it since that scene seems like it would fall perfectly into the category of "is this too intense for children, or is it ok?"
