I always thought of blood manipulation as a perfect agility/mobility technique. I see it as essentially controlling the blood within you to give you high speed flight or even absolute speed flight. Being able to move your body in any direction at any moment, with basically no issue of body injury. Can’t wait to see more of Choso.

@@explosivegrape sure, but they dont have the semi-immortal body akin to cursed spirit like choso. and it takes to no effort for healing and blood ammunition especially also because of being the cursed spirit. It's heavily implied the 9 cursed womb brothers (maybe specifically, choso) was one of the peak experiment to kenjaku. until yet again, he remains unsatisfied and keep going through with his culling game plan. edit: yes he's a hybrid, not exactly a spirit. the point stand still

Noritoshi Kamo's domain expansion would be crazy, straight up flooding the barrier with blood creating a lake of blood he can control at will.

Something I think would be REALLY cool to see (especially since Noritoshi just returned in the manga), is a form of blood bending like from Avatar The Last Airbender. Now what I'm imagining wouldn't work exactly the same way. Instead, either Choso or Kamo would have to imbue some of their own blood with cursed energy and throw out an attack. If that attack hits their opponent, they can then have their blood infiltrate the opponent's wound which would grant them access over the movements of the opponent's entire body, or simply an appendage/organ. Imo that would be an awesome way to make Blood Manipulation even more dangerous, while still not being completely devoid of counters. Because while Blood Manipulation is certainly powerful, it still doesn't scream "worthy of being a major 3 clan" compared to the Zenin clan that has The Ten Shadows Technique, Projection Sorcery, Heavenly Restriction, etc. And the Gojo clan speaks for itself. Point being, it would be a really cool buff for Blood Manipulation and the Kamo clan's main CT. It would finally bring Noritoshi some sorely needed relevance if he were to pull it off specifically.

I think it has same potential as Blood bending from Avatar. Otherwise, the kamo clan don't have any right to be a top clan and even Kenjaku chose the kamo clan body to occupy because he must have seen it's potential. My theory is, Reversal series. A cursed technique gives inverse effect when positive energy is used instead of cursed energy. Ex: Gojo's (CE) blue=pull, (PE) Red= push. Blood manipulation gives the ability to control the blood of the user when CE is used. I think, if PE is used, the user can probably control blood of others because of inverse effect.

Blood is just a part of the body. With RCT they could continuously replenish their blood. This is the only way i would consider it on par with limitless and 10 shadows in terms of having a whole clan surrounding it.

I'm surprised there isn't a technique where the blood manipulation user covers their opponent in blood then either prevents them from moving, control their body, or used their blood to bore into the enemies skin like a drill. It would seem all that is possible based on the known skills.

This technique should get a power increase, maybe being able to control the blood of other people, perhaps people with less curse energy. Since blood manipulation is the prized technique of one of the three major clans if should definitely be stronger.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I know it might be a weird theory but I think Yuji might eat his curse death paintings brothers. We know that Yuji will get some kind of curse energy increase front eating them since Gege confirms this in the fan books. We also got confirmation from Gege that we won’t see all of the curse death paintings. Essentially I believe Yuji will succumb to Sukuna’s habits due to there souls merging and gains a craving for power (after all we can see Megumi being pushed to kill others in the culling game so Yuji might also have a similar situation) if this is true it might even be possible that he steals there blood techniques.

Blood manipulation is theoretically one of the best techniques in JJK. Using large portions of blood wouldn't really be necessary... Do you realize how many cells of blood are in a drop? Around five million. and each one put end to end would be invisible to the naked eye due to how thin it would be. put end to end, one drop of blood's worth of cells would stretch 37500000 micrometers, or 37.5 meters in length minimum (as each cell of blood is 7.5-8.7 micrometers in diameter); meaning using only one drop of blood they could make a nearly forty meter long string that would vary in thickness (each blood cell is roughly 1.7-2.2 micrometers in thickness). While it would not be very sharp, it would be very good at serration and could basically be used in a similar way to Sukuna's cleave attack if moving fast enough. As we've seen with piercing blood, users of this technique can make their blood move incredibly fast, so if they just make the stream one cell thick, they have basically an invisible laser that can cut through just about anything.

basically with black flash, when you apply cursed energy within one one-millionth of a hit, the cursed energy is more powerful by a power of 2.5 (that is x^2.5 NOT x * 2.5) and creates black sparks.

I like the way Gege writes fights for the most part, but I think he would be better of not using math, which he has even admitted not being super good in. Choso's top attack speed being a bit above Mach 1 and Hanami getting damaged by an even slower attack is really, really unimpressive. A lot of firearms are vastly faster and a skilled pilot has the reaction and perception abilities to pilot fighterjets that can reach up to Mach 6. Considering that the move is far faster than Choso's regular speed that would also mean that while faster Choso could not really "blitz" even normal people. Hanami getting damaged by probably barely Mach 1 blood would also mean he would get fucked up by firearms and Jogo trying to evade his own meteor travelling at ablation speed would rip apart his own body due to the speed being too much for his body durability. A bunch of feats can be scaled well above Mach 1, even in very weak verses, like KnY demonslayers moving too-fast-to-see for superhumans. Same also goes for Projection Sorcery being depicted as top tier speed, arguably rivalling Toji, when peak humans ncan register things in way less than a 42th of a second, let alone Naobito blitzing Dagon or Naoya appearing to teleport to Yuji and Choso. Maki has been implied to have similar speed to Toji, but Toji moving to fast for Gojo's six-eyes to keep track of him should be dozens of times faster than Naoya. The multiplier for Black Flash is also too absurd and probably would have been better off just being a plain 2x multiplier, otherwise things like Todo tanking a Black Flash from Mahito get really weird, because normal attacks should be so vastly inferior as to not afffect him. IMO many people and authors tend to really overestimate the speed of sound and underestimate feats like moving too fast to see.

Dude Choso piercing blood is stated to exceed the speed of sound and according to the fanbook, it can go even faster depending on how much it is condensed. As for the frame technique you simply missed the part where 24 frame per second is the amount of movement the technique separates it into, the can move anywhere in their field of vison as long as the execute those 24 moves, it has nothing to do with reaction speed like you seem to think. I believe you avoid talking about thing you don't know much about.
