Sadly the $3.00 bloodline keeper is thick stock so it won’t work. It’s still super good include, but it’s no longer a budget option apologies everyone.

Oooor one could just use one of those Zendikar helper cards for MDFCs with Bloodline Keeper/Lord of Lineage written on it and just play the thick card whenever you cast the substitute from hand. I have a normal bloodline keeper but I still do exactly that because I hate getting it out of the sleeve all the time to flip it so I'd say the $3.00 thick version is a great alternative.

I wouldn’t put BMC in because they’d also count as Demons which wouldn’t proc the commander’s ability

did you guys playtest this? I had difficulties getting actual sacrifice fodder plus sacrifice engines on the field early on. If you put out cards like dusk legion zealot, which also curves really well, you have less cards you actually wanna sacrifice. You cut all the sacrifice fodder producers basically in the deck, what do you wanna sacrifice to your commander then?

I think he was saying if you are going with the higher budget adds you can get rid of this as the other cards make it less needed.

I would also put Teysa karlov in the deck to give your demon tokens some extra power (I don’t know if Teysa’s first ability allows you to make double token but if that’s the case it’s an auto include)

Huge agree on the blood artist cuts. It's not what this commander is trying to do. I think too many people are trying to build this deck like Edgar markov 2.0

The new Vito would also go into this deck. Radiant destiny should be a keep in the deck as the city's blessing is not hard to get and giving everything vigilance is too much of an upside especially when your 4/3's become 5/4's

@@decktechsfordecks Felidar Retreat is fine but then you have to rely on the landfall triggers. Radiant Destiny as long as you have the blessing youll always just have +1 and vig. Also Destiny costs one less mana

Yes, they are considered EVERY type of creature, for any game purpose
