Blood Sampling of a Newborn is shown. Butterfly Line is used. Venous blood is difficult to collect as veins are very small and they easily collapse when pricked. So, Arterial Sample is taken in most of the cases.

To są Indie, tam prawie wszystko robi się żle.Pamietaj nigdy nie wzoruj się na postępowaniu tego personelu .Oglądam te filmiki i jest przerażona co tam robią z noworodkami I małymi dziecmi,jestem pielęgniarką z Europy i brakuje w moim słowniku słów, żeby dosadnie określić ich postępowania. Na niektórych filmikach tak szarpią poniewierają noworodkami ,że tylko czekam jak będą rzucać je na podłogę,coś strasznego

^^^^As a collegiate medical student I know EXACTLY what NOT TO DO as well!!!! If I were this babies mother….actually….I bet she never even knew this video existed. This is my 5 year olds tablet who was also In the Nicu but for low sugar and she had to get poked. I had to get a C-section so I did not get to see her until the next day from the amount of pain I was in. I don’t think they treated her this badly at least I hope to God they didn’t because they will be getting there’s. An eye for an eye

Absolute BULLSHIT. First of all, you need to LOCATE the vein. Second, sanitize the area. Third, stick the patient ONCE and enter the vein CORRECTLY. From there, continue the test.

Ich Frage mich, weshalb sie es trotzdem tun und ohne Handschuhe noch dazu!? In Indien ist das sicher auch nicht erlaubt.... Ist das für Sie vielleicht ein Baby der niedrigeren Kasten? I believe there is a channel which a woman handles and she has had a similar experience with the needles going in and out TWICE, the SAME NEEDLE because of the medical staff’s ignorance and she had complications after a few months, her wrist was completely was bent and still is, she had surgery so it’s not that bent BUT it is not straight as well! She goes to hand therapy every day/month. So PLEASE PLEASE be careful ESPECIALLY ON A CHILD AN INFANT, your ignorance right now may lead to the bad health of that child!
