If you're willing to do false depth chalice dungeons you can get the chikage right after beating BSB and beating the first chalice. You can then create false depth chalices (level 6 chalices that have a false depth of level 1) and you can get lost chikage without fighting any bosses. This is the glyph if anyone actually watches these 6 months after they happen and reads the comments. It's on the first bonus room of layer one. Glyph - 9nheuvvz

I've tried other SoulsBorne games, couldn't ever get the hang of them. I just did my first bloodtinge run but wanted to use something unique so I tried out the Reiterpellash. It's so OP once you get the R1-L1-visceral combo down. It's a very solid weapon that I'm surprised to see people hardly use. There's nothing more satisfying than timing the L1 transform into a parry!

Man Father Gascoigne's OST slaps sooo damn hard, absolutely one of my favorites, who ever wrote it really kicks ass. Love when the drums kick in and then the build up to the vocals man it so sick. The Buh buh buh diddly duh diddly duh buh buh buh part is really cool lol, love how the rhythm is reversed like that, I wrote a verse riff in my band back in the day that reversed like that mid verse. It was really cool and intricate for a rock song, did all kinds of riffs like that in my metal band before that. Been in a ton of bands, I have done Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Vocals/Guitar, pretty much played in every position a metal/rock band could have. At one time I had a full guitar rig, Jackson and ESP/LTD guitars, Peavey 5150 head and Mesa Boogie 4x12 cab, pedal board, mics for recording like Shure SM57, a full drum kit 5pc Pearl Export kit, with Demon Drive Double Pedal, Aquarian Heads, Zildjian Cymbals, Hi Hats, Ride, 3 Crashes, China, Splash, Audix Mics for the whole kit, a full bass rig ESP/LTD basses, Ampeg 6x10 cab, Hartke 400w head, and Shure Beta52 mic to record, I had 3 Shure SM58 Vocal mics, Behringer 16 channel mixer, mic stands/cables, all I needed was some P.A. speakers and I would have literally had an entire band worth of equipment. I had all of that by the time I was 20, bought it all myself. Then work and wife, and all of that got in the way of my dreams. I got rid of most of my gear, sold it all but I still have a couple of guitars. Anyways, sorry for the novel, just love music and gear and I know Lobos loves playing music as well.

@@wallacesousuke1433 like the way i see it, souls combat gets a lot of mileage out of some really simple mechanics, since you don't really have that many moves at your disposal at any given moment, while a game like dmc3 offers you a lot more options with what you can do, what moves to chain together and all of that, which leads to more possibilities for experimentation with the mechanics, i mean if you never have look at a combo video made by sasaki or donguri, it doesn't seem fair to judge a combat system that let's any player good enough to do stuff like that as dumb or spammy. That said tastes are personal so I don't mean to say that i think you're wrong for liking soulslike combat systems more

Lobos is using this weapon all wrong; it's ALL about the transformation attacks. R1-L1-R1-L1 and then step back. The combo is fast and more importantly it keeps the blood part sheathed after use. The whole idea is to minimize health drain by only having it in blood mode when you are using it to hit something

Kos washed up on the shore and died giving birth to Orphan, the village was comprised of people and they began to worship the Great One, eventually they were turned into fish people, and Byrgenwerth discovered the village and Great One so they sent Gehrman and Lady Maria there to wipe out the village and gain whatever they could from the Hamlet, it made Maria upset and she threw her Rakuyo down the well and decided to help people suffering from blood ministration instead of being a Hunter. So she helped the research hall and protects the Fishing Hamlet, Byrgenwerth hid the existence of the Hamlet and Great One there. All of this is in the Hunter's Nightmare, where all of the Hunters are trapped once they get blood drunk by killing too much and taking too much blood. Gehrman made contact with the Moon Presence and it tasked him with the Hunter's Dream, a perpetual occupation where he trains and advises New Hunters to kill the beasts, and ultimately end the Nightmare/Dream. That's the way I understand the base game ending and DLC lore. Willem is the old man in the chair at Byrgenwerth a place of learning, where they believe through Insight humanity can ascend to become Great Ones themselves, Laurence was a student of Willem and once the Great Ones' Blood was discovered by Hunters in the Chalice Dungeons he disavowed from Byrgenwerth to create the Healing Church, where they believe through blood ministration humanity can ascend to become Great Ones. Ludwig was the first Chief Hunter of the Healing Church who became overcome by the Moonlight Sword and being blood drunk and got stuck in the Hunter's Nightmare. Unfortunately, blood ministration turns humans to beasts so Old Yarnham became overrun with beasts, that's why Djura the guy with the gatling gun protecting Old Yarnham says just remember you're not hunting Beasts when you kill him. That's about all I understand of the lore, Gerhman, Maria, and the Hunter's Workshop worked for Byrgenwerth, the Healing Church had different beliefs but were not enemies of Byrgenwerth, they are more like allies with the same goals, just different beliefs. The Pthumerians were an ancient race before humans that discovered the Great Ones Blood and made the Chakice Dungeons, the big gray guys you fight in the Dungeons are Pthumerian, also theres a Boss called the Pthumerian Descendant you fight that's a Pthumerian obviously, and the Queen of the Pthumerians was called Yarnham, you see her when you kill Rom on the lake, and you see her in the Nightmare of Mensis, that's her baby crying, she was impregnated to have a Great One and Mergo is the baby. Mensis was another group that broke off from Byrgenwerth and like Lobos said put cages on their heads and contacted the great ones through the Nightmare, they are there so long that their bodies died and decayed long ago, but their consciousness still lives on in the Nightmare, that's why Micolash is so upset when you kill him in the Nightmare, because he will be dead once he wakes from the dream. That's the way I understand it all anyways lol.
