The reason is everyone and their mom is dedicated to get Bloodborne running on PC asap, because most if not all the games already came to PC(god of war Ragnarok (and 2018) ghost of Tsushima, spiderman, Miles Morales and even spiderman 2 is announced to soom launch on PC) That why it took like 5 to 6 month to gain this progress, at the end of the year I think the game will be playable.

The game still has a lot of graphical issues, but that's totally normal since the emulator is still in the early stages of development. But the fact that the game is playable in such a short time is mind-blowing.

I played for quite a while today in 60fps ultrawide. Plenty of glitches off course, and a nasty VRAM leak that crashes the game if it runs for too long, but it's actually quite enjoyable. My biggest annoyance was that I had to restart the emulator loads of times before all the sound effects worked, using the sound effect mod. And the cutscene for Vicar Amalia crashed the game every single time, but the fight worked fine after skipping the cutscene. Though, the emulator once crashed SPECTACULARLY after running for 2+ hours. It ran out of VRAM, froze, and then gradually consumed all my 64 GB of system memory until my whole computer froze solid. I couldn't kill the process no matter how much I tried. Had to hard reboot my whole system! A very janky experience, but playable.

Look sooo promising! What is still missing is the fog where you fight the NPC enemy in Old Yharnam and getting rid of those FPS-Hiccups. And what is going on with Djuras aim? In my memory he was very accurate while in this gameplay he takes ages to shoot and aims quite bad.

Have an issue on steam deck primarily with this new branch that added this fix. While I sometimes loaded in with missing textures and geometry (floor was missing etc), a quick reload would fix it. On this branch however it seems that the drivers on steam deck have an issue with the sound fix. Gonna have to wait to see if it will be fixed with later builds I guess.

Just think, once this emulator can run the game without any bugs or missing elements, we're fucking set. There's going to be texture upscaling mods, mesh fixes, bug fixes, and possibly lighting mods at the level of DS2 Lighting Engine. Sony really fucked up by not porting this game sooner. They're gonna miss out on so much easy cash. All they had to do was port it at 60fps. That couldn't have taken FromSoftware too long. It would've been done faster than this emulator and would've sold an insane number of copies.
