Nah dw dlc is kinda easy tbh except orphan but you'll manage it took like 56 hours to full plat but dlc is fun may not be easy if you aren't that skilled but its very fun

I think Sekiro is the only outlier here, every Dark Souls or Nioh type of game can be overleveled for the most part. Sekiro is a legit "get good", you can't beat that game without knowing how to parry and I love that. I'll go back and finish off Kos this Christmas season I think though for sure.

I found sekiro quite easy once I adapted to the mechanics, and dark souls 3 was one of the easier ones, just has a bunch of boring mind numbing grinding. I think you’re misinterpreting difficulty for time taken. Bloodborne is a more difficult game in terms of gameplay, but if you’re good at souls game, it’ll be a lot quicker to get platinum simply because there’s no massive lengthy grind.

Even though I had to get the plat on offline mode, since I don't have a subscription I still would say its one of the more easy to get platinums of the from soft games. That and I had so much fun that I just decided to play through it 3 times for the different endings instead of the save/reload. However, I would be lying if I didn't say that the cursed and defiled chalice dungeon was absolute torture. I 100% the DLC as well, had to do it on NG+ because I still had to buy it. Biggest obstacle was Ludwig, at some point I wondered if I was ever going to see the rest of the DLC. After that I had a pretty easy time. Was getting late when I got to Kos, decided I'd see what he did and go to bed. Beat him on my first try when I continued playing the next day. Parry really trivializes the game 😅

elden ring is definetely easier, bbut compared to ds3 this is a joke. also if i remember correctly, in ng+ ludwig has mroe health than kos due to the high scaling in the first part of the dlc

@valeriomastroeni8454 oh definitely, I'd put Bloodborne as second easiest one to get after Elden Ring. The other ones are much more of a chore. If that's true I definitely felt that with Ludwig. Most difficult boss in the game for me.

I whole heartedly agree. Now dark souls 1-3 offline... Now that's painful, but I have the best developed characters I have ever made so the trade off is totally worth it. Max new game is epic as well. NG 6 Ludwig and orphan are beasts!

I’ve only ever played 3 once through and thought the DLC was brutal I don’t recall finishing it but outside of the grinding to get covenant levels the bosses I think are still are all fairly easy specially now in 2024. That’s awesome you’ve kept challenging yourself to NG6

yeah the plat was only tough because of the chalices in my opinion, most of the games learning curve is pretty quick to get a hang of most people just play too passively

"Bloodborne's plat is far easier than people say" THANK YOOUUU. Bloody hell im tired of so many people and other youtubers exaggerating over the difficulty of this game when its actually quite easy. I played bloodborne for the first time around 6 weeks ago and i platinum it 2 weeks after. Mind you that bloodborne is my first soulslike/soulsborne game I've ever played so the excuse of me being a veteran souls player doesn't apply. Before i played the game, a lot of my friends who are fans of the soul franchise and were the ones who introduced me to it, said that bloodborne was hella hard and it was gonna take me months to platinum so i shouldn't start with it, but instead with Elden Ring. I decided to tackle the challenge since i also saw multiple KZbin vids saying the plat for bloodborne was insanely difficult and painful. Yeah... it was not. Around 60% of the bosses i beat 1rst try. The only 2 bosses i struggled with were Amygdala which took me 10 tries and Martyr Logarious which took me 15 tries. Even the dlc bosses on my first playthrough werent all that difficult. Before anyone says "oh u were using summons" or "oh you must have been level 300" nope, i didnt use summons a single time and i leveled up normally with the blood echoes that the enemies and bosses i encountered gave me. I didnt farm blood echoes once, not because i was against the idea, but because it is hella boring and most enemies in ur first playthrough only give u a few hundred blood echoes and i was not gonna waste hours of my time killing enemies over and over again just for a few extra levels. I only started farming blood echoes on my 3rd playthrough (ng+2) since thats when i found out about the cummfpk dungeon. Currently im on my 5th playthrough (ng+4) and im BL270 the only 3 bosses that are truly giving me a hard time now are Ludwig, Orpahn of kos and especially Laurence. But if it takes multiple playthroughs so that the game becomes difficult, then the game isnt actually difficult. Which is why i dont understand why so many people exaggerate this game.

My hot take has always been that none of the souls/borne games are difficult because even if you get stuck you can just go and grind things and put level it. Sekiro is an exception because there’s no real levels but the only difficulty that comes with it is mastering the party system. I’m also big on “play the game how you want”, oh you want to use summons? Go ahead! Want to use magic? Please! You’re the one who paid to play the game, who cares what people think. Congrats on your plat though! Welcome to the series :)

It's a time saver, but it's not easy. Jumping from the 1st Chalice to the end you're not high enough level/don't do enough damage to even the standard mobs let alone the bosses.

I’ve yet to “properly” play Elden Ring, I got to Radahn or whatever halfway through and it didn’t catch me like the other SoulsBorne game… I’ll likely revisit when the new game release reschedule calms down a bit. Good insight though!
