This is a sword fight clip from the movie Bloodmoon. It's a decent movie with a lot of fun fighting scenes. And Chuck Jeffreys is insanely close to being Eddie Murphy.
The fight is as almost as good as the finale. Staged and filmed really well throughout. All the fights in the movie are great but this one is quite amazing.

Darren Shalavi is amazing! I definitely wanna see more of his skills like this! He don't mess around, when he fights...he fights to win. And that pressure point technique shows it!

This has to be one of the greatest Samurai sword fights I've seen in like forever. Notice the some what realism when they swing the swords. I dunno how much they weigh in real life but I'll know soon enough cause I'm getting a set :)

Chad's not satisfied until the victims are dead, but he likes to punish them badly by just being brutal and vicious. In his eyes, the champion is the one who is still breathing, not the one who is merely knocked out or injured. He has to fight until they're dead or incapacitated...doesn't matter which comes first as long as they're a corpse by the time he's finished.

Kendo gear doesn’t protect you from real sword but it’s an obstacle while you’re practicing sword art. It only has training protection purposes.
@Intelus13 жыл бұрын
Ok, I know this is a movie and it's not meant to be realistic, but this is just funny. First, he unsheathes his sword at 1:13 (which lasts 4 seconds and considering the speed at which he was drawing it, it should be at least twice as long) with the standard-issue metal-on-metal SFX added. Ok, I can accept that. But when he drops the saya at 1:19, it's so obvious from the sound it makes that it's mostly wood (as a saya is and should be). Epic phone answering at 2:31.

Umm...this isn't supposed to be realistic. It's a movie. They used things that looked good, and I'm sure they weren't trying to get everything down to a T in every little detail. Sides, him wearing the armor was just his way of keeping his identity a secret until he revealed himself. Relax and just enjoy it sheesh

+Claudia Ervin That's what I told another poster in an earlier vid of this film. He assumed that Chad (The Blood Knight) went after everyone and I told him, 'not exactly. Chad is just a disturbed gladiator who believes he's the best of the best. he fights those who can put up a decent battle and when I say decent, I mean someone whom he can kill and whom can kill him in personal combat'. When I told him that, he automatically saw the Akuma reference also. Hey Claudia, who do you think would win in a 'Blood Knight' battle...Chad or Fung Yu Sau from Kung Fu Jungle?
