Being the drummer in the band I never realized all the cool stuff Mike's actually playing! Thanks!

Cool solo scale. This helps to reassign the fingers. The last few days I’ve been trying to figure out better use of finger placement. I maybe have been getting into a bad habit of using index and pinky for a lot of notes, power chords to reach easier and only using ring for slides. Sloppy and inefficient use of fingers but there is so much to learning guitar… That scale sounds to me like what The Offspring has used.

Totally. It’s good to try and use different finger patterns to see what works best and build the muscle memory. Yep. That is the offspring used a similar scale in one of their songs. Thanks for the feedback watching!

Brilliant! Awesome lesson to get time dialed in, especially the solo which was a huge help! Anyone have a line where to find a backing tracking with the guitar parts voided?

What did you use to get that distortion?

Just ran my guitar straight into a 50 watt, all-tube, Mesa Rect-O-Verb amp. No pedals.
