I would say he realized after the deaths of some really true friends and family members that the superficial life he had when he was hyped isnt the Life u should live... And thats also why he didnt shaved his hair since so long i guess... Just be as u are!

Honestly, I respect all the artists immensly...the feelings, the bravery to express publicly is all great, what I hate is "adding depth" we are who we are...and as much as enjoy " I had a pill in Ibiza"... C'mon...most of Posner's fans never been or will go to Ibiza...great track, but try to take the reality check every now and then... Then maybe you will notice where most of yous fans are in life....
@blackshadow-_-c94413 жыл бұрын
@@martinthorz2983 Wait what, how does it matter if most his fans will never go to Ibiza? Neil Armstrong went to the moon and shared his story to his "fans" world wide, but most of the, will never reach the moon. What im trying to convey here is that not everything has to be relatable, sure you wont go to Ibiza and take a pill, but most of us have felt in a way the same on another level, being that you do something you dont really want to do because of peer pressure etc. And with the moonlanding this was the sheer exitment of said discovery, not necesarily the actual act. Ty for reading, have a good day :D

@@blackshadow-_-c9441 point taken...:)! I wasn't trying to stir up any bad vibes... I actually like this song very much...but at the same time I (being an old fart); can't stand the way today's world works...the evening when I typed my comment most likely Mr. Posner just got in the crossfire of my bitterness and Jack Daniels:) Stay in peace, my friend:)

He's reinventing something. Before rock swept everything away, "folk singing" was going to a tiny club next to Washington Square where Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Dave van Ronk, Phil Ochs, Judy Collins would sing for an educated hip young audience like this as if they were, really, all friends and members of a club.

Virginia Woolf and poetry No one seemed to notice me Being young was getting so old Cheap beer and cigarettes Life was like a movie set And I seemed to be given no role But in times of trouble I can turn to my mother And I know that she gon' understand So at age 18 I cried to my mother And she told me, "young man" "There are moments when you fall to the ground But you are stronger than you feel you are now You don't always have to speak so loud, no Just be as you are Life is not always a comfortable ride Everybody's got scars that they hide And everybody plays the fool sometimes, yeah Just be as you are" They played me on the radio And everything was changing, so I thought I was all the way grown But I can still remember in that cold November When I realized I'm all alone But in times of trouble I can turn to my mother And I know that she gon' understand So at age 22 I cried to my mother And she told me, "young man" "There are moments when you fall to the ground But you are stronger than you feel you are now You don't always have to speak so loud, no Just be as you are It doesn't matter if you become some star Life is better when you open your heart You don't always have to act so hard, no Just be as you are" "There are moments when you fall to the ground But you are stronger than you feel you are now You don't always have to speak so loud, no Just be as you are It doesn't matter if you become some star Life is better when you open your heart You don't always have to act so hard, no Just be as you are"
