In today’s fishing adventure, I put bloodworms to the test targeting porgies, and they didn’t disappoint! Along the way, I also hooked into some croakers and a surprise puffer fish. Blood worm cost is insane and as the summer goes on they get super tiny . When I can get like 30 frozen from Walmart for $6 then bait shop clams for like $10 it’s hard to go to $$$ blood worm.

As great of a bait they are - The cost of blood worms is insane and I’ve decided not to use them anymore for that reason. Maybe, just maybe I’ll buy them in spring for stripers but it’s just an obscene scenario thinking about losing a three dollar worm to some nuisance fish.

Great video and intro song! That was a pigfish and out here in Brooklyn or queens the bloodworms are $16.50 a dozen and $25.00 for the jumbo ones. Tight lines
