Wow! Great game, Jim. Quite chaotic. As Mike Tyson once said, "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth." I'm surprised, given all the SNAFU's that day, that any progress was made on this beach.... a true testament to the small unit leadership and individual soldier skills, not to mention collective balls of steel!

Thanks very much! Yeah, if anything "went wrong" with this scenario, it was too smooth for the Americans, especially with the survivability of their DD tanks and the TIMING of the successive waves. Yes, I had drift rules for WHERE they wound up, and German beach obstacles hazard rules ... but there were no rules for "do the waves arrive on time at all." Historically, they did not. Here, they always did, and again, waaay too many of the tanks survived the landing (I think a total of FIVE DD tanks for 743rd TB made it ashore ... that would be just ONE counter ... although other tanks were dozer-equipped Shermans landed via LCTs). So yeah, if I ever do this game or part of it again ... the landing rules will be reworked to make them a littl emore scrambled. We also did Juno for the Canadian landings waaaay back in the day. I'll have to dust that thing off one of these dats and update that scenario as well!

Fantastic! BTW. Are the 10-2-6-1 Panzerschrek counters homebrew? Are they available anywhere? I could watch all day!

Thanks very much! Yes, I created the graphics for all these counters myself actually (Panzer Leader values, unless I changed them. Note all infantry move at 2). The panzerschreck sections now actually come in two versions. The newer version has a "5-A" attach value. This is because they always fire at point-blank value (Range of 1, naturally) and thus always double against armored targets. This is more clear because if we left it at 10 ... people might double vs. armor (per normal "A" rules) to 20, which is too much. Also, vs. infantry, "A" weapons halve at close range ... so a Panzerschreck section should halve to 2.5, or 3 ... with the "10-A" value they would halve to 5, which is too much for a handful of guys with a few rocket launchers. Note the lower defense factors ... these are really just sections, not full platoons.
