I am a huuuuge Bloodywood fan. They are so damn talented, each member. Karan has undeniably sick skills on the guitar and brings the flute aspect beautifully. Jaiyant’s vocals are breath taking, so smooth and then like you said his screams are so powerful. Raoul’s voice is like nothing we’ve heard plus has awesome lyrics. AND they do it all independently, no label, produce, write, record, edit everything themselves. And of course, they’re so vocal about issues that aren’t necessarily talked about enough, especially in India. My favourite thing about them is every song invoke serious emotions. Like who doesn’t wanna get up and riot against the government after listening to this?! 😂 Can’t recommend enough their documentary ‘Raj against the machine’. It’s awesome and just shows how awesome they are. Their tour’s been postponed cos of stupid COVID and they just got screwed on the album release (some glitched meant hard copies of their album didn’t count toward final sale count). The fan base rallied and have tried to boost download sales (some people buying 10/20 copies) and on Tuesday, we find out if they’ve made the billboard 200. If they make it, they’ll be the first Indian artists to be on their! If not then, we’ll doesn’t matter cos they’re still sick! And yes, they need to be way bigger like you said! Loving your channel. Love your playing too. Keep doing stufffff!

Brilliant reaction as always. And yeah, you are correct - "Gaddaar" mean Traitor. "Gaddaaron" is the plural form of the word "Gaddaar", i.e. Traitors.

That was a barrel of fun! Thanks for this one kerel, enjoyed the whole piece. At the moment in the beginning when the guitar kicks in I just can't but make the comparison to Max Cavalera's bands 'Sepultura' and 'Soulfly'. It's exactly that same heaviness you're talking about. That same rebellious vibe and sound. Awesome🤘 C U later!

Tonight a man is in the right mind-set for a Bloodywood reaction marathon ... so you are neither the first nor the last youtuber on this journey - but your polite opening in this video made the choice for this comment to become a thing. They (Bloodywood ... obviously 🙄) promised an album that will 'blow us away' in a sense ... we are not ready or something ... I can't wait OR imagine for what to expect... BUT it will be ROCK! 🤘 PS: subbed

Lyrics in English, if you need it. I typed them all out so I could more easily follow the song... feel free to copy and paste anywhere you like! Gaddaar (Traitor) This video contains heavy political commentary It isn’t aimed at a particular person, party or political mindset We remain politically neutral Honest I greet you in Urdu I greet you in Hindi I use the Sikh battle cry And value the compassion of Christ I do this in plain view I do this before all Adamant about walking Hand in hand with them all The dividers lie At every opportunity An age-old strategy that has Repeatedly let the people down Left the youth powerless Wow! What a scene As the politicians made millions I see a state turning to faith Faith turn into hate Hate turn into votes Votes turn into notes $ Blacker kind of black money We’re the antidote Best kinda Bloody Yeah we’re bringing the hope You gotta walk the rope Up on your block provoked I’m what you’re not Show you what I got Rock the boat Where you at? I don’t need no gun I bring the fire and the fury Of the third world, son Stuck in their web We struggle for sanity Trapped in an illusion of a better tomorrow We were used and then Brushed away like dirt You gotta walk the rope Up on your block provoked I’m what you’re not Show you what I’ve got Take a bow Take a bow, traitor (Repeat twice more) Take a bow Now get the fuck out! Never will I stop Never will I say die I said never will I stop Never will I say (Repeat once more) Never will I Get the fuck out, traitor! Slow clap the crap they calling governance More than a rap man We’re reforming governments Full blown attack man get with the plan We’re here to pull apart the politicians And the God plan Yeah we’re slaying but we’re saying nothing new We’re just saying you better do the shit You say you’re gonna do None of that fake shit WWE Cause you know we keep it real Like the UFC Years of empty promises have gone by In return of my votes I received betrayal everytime Welcome To a country in disarray Where the shield of democracy lies fractured Classism And corruption The bows of which Our leaders rise to power The source of our frustration Is the filthy nature of their game It’s on us to cleanse it So hold your ground Against their lies Together we are Unbreakable Stuck in their web We struggle for sanity Trapped in an illusion of a better tomorrow We were used and then Brushed away like dirt You gotta walk the rope Up on your block provoked I’m what you’re not Show you what I’ve got Take a bow Take a bow, traitor (Repeat twice more) Take a bow Now get the fuck out! Never will I stop Never will I say die I said never will I stop Never will I say (Repeat once more) Never will I Get the fuck out, traitor! This video contains heavy political commentary It is aimed at divisive leaders, parties and political mindsets In the face of fascism and communalism We cannot remain politically neutral Indian singing intensifies You brought the yin We brought the yang Make a big bang Got me running wild Like a mustang Untamed Hate the player and the game Burn it down and build it up But never do this shit the same Stuck in their web We struggle for sanity Trapped in an illusion of a better tomorrow We were used and then Brushed away like dirt You gotta walk the rope Up on your block provoked I’m what you’re not Show you what I’ve got Take a bow Take a bow, traitor (Repeat twice more) Take a bow Now get the fuck out! Yeah I’m not up on India politics but this felt a little personal to me. Even though it can be broadened out over every country and hold the same truth. The world is run by the rich and the political. There’s no place in this world for the regular people except to pay taxes to fuel the machine.

@@ThomFoolery1 Good morning Thom! Just a little message to remind you to check out your new favourite band man! Haha I'm gonna keep harrassing you with them 😉! I wouldn't do that if I wasn't absolutely sure you're gonna love this music. It's layered, great build ups, a variety of instruments like horns and bariton/bass sax (dunno, that's where you come in) and Adams awesome guitarsolos; not too fancy and difficult, just beautiful. Like the rest of the band, great musicans with love and passion for what they do, making beautiful soothing music... Have at it buddy! Just for good measure, I've come across a live performance of them featuring on Lowlands 2018 in the Netherlands with great audio. And even better: it's a playlist from the setlist! And maybe, that is if you really like them, you could skip 'Strangest Thing' and do a reaction to that one...😇 kzbin.info/aero/PL_ZT71gAt4tRs-rwjdZ0oSzDokW4KWohl This was the best I could do to plug these guys to you bud! @@rolandmertens1604 Hey bud! That is funny timing. I was just listening to them with a smile as I saw your comment! I have just listened to a 6 or 7 tracks so far but I genuinely like them a lot so far! Such purity, warmth and a feeling of hope in each song. There's something very comforting about the style. I was surprised to see that they started in 2005! I thought they were 80/90s based on the sounds of the guitar and synths. I'm a big fan of bands that embrace a retro sound and modernize it. Some similar artists that came to mind were The Cure, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen etc. I had definitely heard 'Red Eyes' before, maybe on the radio or something. I can imagine their music being amazing to drive to! Really love the choice of synth sounds that rounds out the overall mix. Really lush guitar production with lots of chorus and reverb effects. This can often be a nightmare to mix but the production is really clean and pleasant. I watched a couple of the live videos in the playlist. They sound very tight live and I can definitely see myself at a festival and loving their set. I normally don't listen to a lot of modern indie music. Something about the minimal, lo-fi sound a lot of bands go for that doesn't sit with me. But I really like TWOD and the way they approach theirs songs with the bigger retro sound. Extremely likeable off the bat and I'm sure the songs get better and more sentimental with each listen. Thank you for suggesting them as I probably wouldn't have listened to them otherwise! I have a few saved to my main everyday playlist already. "I don't live here anymore" is my favourite so far. I'm looking to check out more and I may use one of the live videos for a reaction in the future. Dank je kerel! Have a great evening. :)

@@ThomFoolery1 Thanks for the elaborate reaction and train of thoughts my friend. Really means a lot to me! So glad you like and enjoy these guys. Love the way you interpret their music (or any music at all for that matter). Like: "a feeling of hope in each song", I mean, you can't make this up, it's sincere. I hear it, feel it, and then you go and say it. That's one of the things I love about your channel!! The things I just can't put in to words. Keep that up Thom, that's your forté! 🤘🤘🤘 Amazed you hear similarities with these great artists, 'A Forest' is one of my favourite songs of all time and the Boss' 'Dancing in the Dark' is my first self-bought single, haha! Must have been 8 or 9 yo at the time. Fan ever since! But I digress😄 Coming to think of it, 'A Forest' could be a fine example if it weren't that much darker, but I think I get what you mean by this comparison. 'Red Eyes' was also my first introduction to this band. It was played on public broadcast NPO (also responsible for Beste Zangers) radio 2, and it took me at least two weeks before the song hit me like a brick. It happened while waiting to get unloaded in the port of Rotterdam when I really got a good listen to it. Previous times were all while pre-occupied and not paying full attention. So like you said, these songs keep getting better and more intense the more you listen to them! About Indie Rock/music, I confess, the comparison I did before was based on 🐴💩. I don't know Indie Rock at all mate, just when I read TWOD was Indie I immediately assumed it was the top of the line, haha, sorry for that but while recommending you sometimes have to push it just that bit, right? 😁 Again, thanks a bunch for your thoughts and insights. I hope for my part I left you with a great band to listen to when 'the chips are down' somewhat. In fact, they always manage to make me exhale a big sigh of relief whenever I put them on... And this new album makes everything exciting all over again. Think I heard it over 10 times now. (Trucker with a premium Spotify account mind you! Endless hours of listening, haha🤪🤘) But really, every song on it has been my favourite already 😄 The titlesong is indeed awesome with the great chorusline and female singers. Enjoy the hell out of it buddy! I'm gonna leave it at this, writing in a foreign language on a phone who constantly thinks you need another word is dang exhausting I tell you 😂😅 Hope your channel lives through the ages my friend! I'll be there to witness it! All the best, take care and C U soon bud! 😃🤘
