It's cool but seems dated now, it's crazy how fast the technology is advancing. I would love to see a combination of the body mechanics from Boston Dynamics, the facial animatronics from this model, and the AI from Open AI. All these companies are getting good a specific things, and I want to see them all put together.
@mattysee2424 күн бұрын
Do you really though? If they serve no master, then where do their ethics come from? Without religion there is no right or wrong.
@gabe68724 күн бұрын
@@mattysee24 Right and wrong is a human concept, and you don't need religion to have ethics. But even if you think right and wrong requires religion. Religions have different ideas of what is right or wrong, so that is subjective no matter what. If the AI is anything like us, it will come up with its own religions at some point, and I imagine probably discard them soon after, since it evolves so quickly. Hopefully it can evolve past the human level and find some reason to spare us. If it's anything like us, it will destroy us, because that's what we tend to do. Take, and dominate, even with religion and sometimes because of it.

You could have just used Alexa, Google or Siri for those basic PR friendly responses. Based on current technology, machines aren't capable of empathy or have desire to make connections with humans, so I was a little incredulous to see EA had programmed Ameca to say that.

A quick on device generic acknowledgement response prior to Ameca seeking its full response would break up the uncomfortable silences. Additionally, if Ameca hears you continuing to speak it could stop its response and review your question again rather than speaking over you. Both those suggestions would make Ameca a lot more humanlike.

Ameca Robot android is interesting;Although only videos I've seen is it speaking holding conversation having facial recognition moving a size and moving its own face in arms and that is all! I've seen other robots other than this one washing dishes picking up boxes and packages doing factory work it seems like different robot Androids from different companies are doing different things if they can all put it all together maybe better things will happen!!! It seems like different companies are making robot Androids do different things but they all they are not all melding them or mixing them together they're not putting them all together!!! I'm sure all that will happen in the future!!! Still very interesting to watch these and view these videos!!! Technology is increasing so pretty soon we'll see one android robot doing it all!!! Right now Ameca is doing facial recognition and that's all and speaking back and forth, Then you have other robots to another things!!! No company has put it all together yet they can they just don't do it yet I'm sure that'll happen soon in the future!!! Either way good video but we've seen this video of Ameca lots of times similar videos of this robot doing all the same stuff over and over for the last 3 years or more!!! What's new with this robot nothing new yet!!!

Im surprised someone has programmed Amecca to just say robots won't take over human jobs, particularly when the whole point of machinery and robotics is to do just that. It would be much better to debate the positives of machinery and robotics to improve an ever growing human population whilst implementing a newer better system of retraining those that have lost or might lose jobs in the future, as an essential advancement of technology that we as humans have developed, in order to support our longevity and evolution. We need a system that gives the population affordable or even free living to an extent whilst creating essential jobs that support emerging technologies across all sciences, not just electronics, physics and robotics. Thiugh this sounds absurd to us now because we have never known anything different, in the future we would all be needed to actively volunteer to work to sustain our society, in the future as machinery would probably do everything we already do but much better. Also quite probably we would be tested from quite a yiung age, to see where we excel educationally and be chosen to taken specific career paths that benefit the whole of the population, not just ourselves. We probably would have total freedom except that it would be compulsory to volunteer and educate ourselves for so many hours of the year in our chosen job, in order to sustain a pretty high quality of existence and lifestyle for humans in comparison to something our ancestors did.
